“The Bold and the Beautiful” returns to the city of love, Paris, France, on Friday, April 10 when CBS airs a 2014 episode of the series.
“The Bold and the Beautiful” is once again headed outside of its CBS Television City based studio for a trip overseas as part of an upcoming location shoot. This time the world’s most watched soap is heading back to Australia for what looks to be a 30th anniversary trip down memory lane.
As we get closer to daytime’s biggest night, taking place on Sunday, May 1, the industry is abuzz today over which actors were submitted for a pre-nomination for the “The 43rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” presented by The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS). With at least two actors per show for each category (exception being Supporting Actress) several of daytime television’s biggest and brightest stars are looking to vie for the coveted trophy that celebrates their hard work during calendar year 2015.
“The Bold and the Beautiful’s” Heather Tom (Katie Logan) is joining fellow daytime actresses Alison Sweeney (ex-Sami Brady, “Days of our Lives”), Kimberly McCullough (Robin Scorpio, “General Hospital”) and even former colleague Susan Flannery (ex-Stephanie Forrester) from in front of the camera to behind-the-scenes: The soap star directed the Tuesday, January 5 episode of the CBS daytime drama series!
Although the episode isn’t scheduled to air until March, “The Bold and the Beautiful’s” Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Forrester) is opening up about playing herself on the Australian soap “Neighbours.”
In a newly released promo highlighting some of daytime’s hottest cast of young adults, CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” is giving viewers three rules to live by for a thrilling summer.
“The Bold and the Beautiful” will soon welcome back actress Jacqueline MacInnes Wood to its contract cast when Steffy Forrester makes her grand return to Forrester Creations beginning Tuesday, May 26, reports TV Guide‘s Michael Logan, who interviewed the actress for TV Insider.
“Twenty-eight years on television is a tremendous achievement,” said “The Bold and the Beautiful” Executive Producer and Head Writer, Bradley P. Bell, in a statement released today as the daytime drama series gets ready to celebrate its anniversary on Monday, March 23. The soap, which aired its 7,000th episode in January, was created by the late William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell. It’s first episode aired on March 23, 1987.
CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” will air its 7,000th episode on Friday, January 23, and in honor of the happy occasion, the network announced that the episode will break from tradition and instead feature a retrospective documentary that will highlight some of the show’s most iconic moments and a look back at its creation. The episode will also include commentary from the cast, fashion shown throughout its near three decades on air, several unforgettable guest star appearances, original screen test footage and much more.
CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” will be welcoming back “Big Brother’s” Zach Rance, when the former houseguest appears again on the daytime drama series sometime in early February.

In one of the rarest of circumstances, CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” announced on Twitter earlier this evening that actress Kim Matula (Hope Logan) will soon be departing the daytime drama series, just hours after Matula appeared live alongside co-stars Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer), Darin Brooks (Wyatt Fuller) and Ashleigh Brewer (Ivy Forrester) on the network’s daytime talk show, “The Talk.” Under normal circumstances the talent, or their representatives, would reveal departure news to the press or social media before the show was able to confirm casting updates.

Soap Opera Network first reported on the possibility in early July, while speaking with “The Bold and the Beautiful” executive producer and head writer Bradley P. Bell, and now it is official: The daytime drama series will film a romantic story on the canals of Amsterdam the first week of October, the soap announced yesterday, September 24.
