As expected, on Wednesday, June 11, CBS' "The Bold and the Beautiful" took home its ninth consecutive Golden Nymph at the International TV Audience Awards during the 54th Monte Carlo Television Festival in Monte Carlo. The soap won in the “Telenovela/Soap Opera” category. "B&B" executive producer and head writer Bradley Bell and cast members Kim Matula (Hope Logan), Darin Brooks (Wyatt Spencer), Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan Forrester) and Thorsten Kaye (Ridge Forrester) accepted the award on stage at the Closing Awards Ceremony at the Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carlo.

To coincide with its nomination, the soap has announced the addition of Australian actress Ashleigh Brewer (ex- Kate Ramsay, "Neighbours") to its cast in the newly created contract role of Ivy Forrester, who is the niece of patriarch Eric Forrester (John McCook).
