IT HAPPENED TODAY…

Kendall pleads not guilty at her arraignment, where David makes a brief surprise appearance. Jack grills Kendall about the night of the murder hoping she’ll recall something that can help her case. Kendall later remembers tripping over someone or something as she was running from the mansion. Kendall asks David for answers.

Zach arrives at the mansion where he questions Adam about the night of the murder. Adam and Liza get into it over Colby upon the former Mrs. Chandler’s arrival. Liza gives her account of what happened on the night Stuart was shot. Adam, upset that his memory is foggy, mentions the fact that David had been drugging him to Slater.

Annie’s taken to the hospital after being stabbed by a fellow inmate but her wound isn’t life threatening. Ryan probes Annie after she makes an interesting comment about David. Adam jumps to Annie’s defense when he finds Ryan questioning her about the night of the murder.

Multiple fingers begin to point at David’s guilt.

Frankie pushes Randi away after waking from the surgery that was performed on his hands. Angie fights the urge to go to her son’s side as she encourages Randi to stay strong for Frankie’s sake. Knowing he’ll never be able to live out his dream of becoming a surgeon, Frankie feels as though his life is over.

On the Next All My Children…

• JR points an accusatory finger at David.
• Annie finds an unlikey friend.
• Frankie continues to push Randi away.

IT HAPPENED TODAY…

Claudia, Sonny, Carly and Jax are concerned to find Michael missing from his hospital room. Carly confronts Claudia after overhearing her talking to Johnny about Michael and the two women end up in a precarious situation.

Jason has his hands full with Kristina. Although weak, Michael manages to make his way out of the hospital. Kristina is surprised, but extremely happy, to find Michael waiting for her in her room. Kristina feels as though Sonny never has time for her.

Rebecca wants nothing to do with Helena. Rayner gives Alexis some startling information about Rebecca which she later shares with Nikolas. Rebecca reunites with her secret cohort.

“The Waiting is the Hardest Part”

With Viki’s love and support, Jessica remembers everything about the night she gave birth.  Jessica shares a look with Brody as Viki and Clint prepare to take her home.  Starr and Cole can’t sotp thinking about Hope’s return. 

Gigi and Stacy go at it.  Schuyler thinks his and Gigi’s mission to get a sample of Stacy’s DNA was a bust but Gigi triumphantly informs him otherwise. 

Cristian and Layla agree to take on Fish as their third roommate, but it might not be smooth sailing for the threesome. 

Shaun warns Destiny not to put too much faith in their estranged brother.  Shaun asks Rachel out on a date.  Destiny is privately happy to be able to spend more time with Matthew as she helps him study.

IT HAPPENED TODAY…

Ryan leaves to go see Adam after Annie tells him why she had been at the mansion with a gun. Adam lets Ryan know he believes Annie’s innocent.

Liza explains to Colby why she was at the mansion on the night of the murder as she asserts her innocence. Pete confirms to Colby that the blood on the letter is Stuart’s and thinks Liza is guilty of murder.

Thinking she could help fill the void in David’s life, Marissa goes to him. David has a vision of Babe, who urges him to do the right thing.

Tad’s acting footloose and fancy free.

Erica maintains to Kendall that Zach still loves her. Angie questions Zach’s motivation for marrying Kendall. Kendall visits Ryan, but quickly returns to Zach and Ian’s side. Ryan has doubts about Kendall’s true feelings. Zach informs Liza that he’s a married man.

IT HAPPENED TODAY…

Jax can barely contain his loathing when Claudia seeks him out, claiming that Carly is trying to worm her way back into Sonny’s life.

Claudia continues to cozy up to Michael as she subtly tries to turn him against Carly. Michael unsettles Claudia when he mentions remembering her visiting him while he was in his coma. Sonny wonders if maybe Michael should come live with him after all. Michael is stopped by Toussaint (Billy Dee Williams) as he tries to leave the hospital.

Jason encounters a young girl outside a bar (Lexi Ainsworth).

Rebecca and Nikolas bask in the afterglow of their lovemaking but Rebecca takes off when Alexis arrives. Helena approaches Rebecca on the docks.

Patrick is worried when Robin says she doesn’t want to come back to work fulltime because she can’t be away from Emma.

IT HAPPENED TODAY…

“Are You the Gatekeeper?”

 Bess unlocks the door, thinking she’s coming face to face with Jean Randolph.  Pretending to be Jean, Viki prevails for Bess to look at the situation logically and realize that Jessica needs to face the truth.  Viki’s love and compassion reaches Jessicea, who begins to face the realization that her baby died. 

Schuyler attacks Kyle, accusing him of having stolen Stacy’s blood sample from his room.  Fish comes upon the scene and orders Schuyler to back off Kyle.  Fish doesn’t hid his dislike of Kyle, who points out they used to be friends.  Kyle warns Stacy that Schuyler and Gigi are on to her but she’s not worried.  Thinking Rex and Gigi aren’t home, Gigi uses her key to let her and Schuyler into the loft to get a sample of Stacy’s DNA.  Gigi and Schuyler walk in just as Stacy has managed to get Rex into a very compromising position. 

Layla and Cristian’s search for a third roommate gets off to a rocky start.

IT HAPPENED TODAY…

Jake explains to Liza how he’s going to hand Amanda’s baby over to her. Jake later tells Amanda the arrangements he’s made but doesn’t mention Liza.

Colby finds a packet of letters from Liza addressed to her while poking around in Liza’s room at the Yacht Club. Back at the mansion, Colby reads the letters Adam deliberately kept from her and is deeply affected by Liza’s outpourings of love. Pete and Colby notice blood on the most recent letter. Liza and Colby’s moment of closeness is quickly shattered when Colby realizes her mother had been at the mansion on the night of the murder and accuses her of having shot Stuart.

Scott and Krystal accuse David of being the killer, but Jesse won’t arrest him just yet. David tells Krystal the reason he didn’t pull the trigger that fateful night.

Zach and Kendall agree to get married to evoke spousal privilege. The pair are later married for the third time buy a justice of the peace at Pine Valley hospital.

Ryan confronts Annie after seeing a drawing Emma made of a woman holding a gun.

IT HAPPENED TODAY…

Michael pushes himself too hard during his physical therapy as he’s determined to go home sooner rather than later. Carly realizes that Michael is trying to pit her and Sonny against each other and points out to Sonny that they need to present a united front. Claudia darkens when she witnesses Sonny sharing a tender moment with Carly. Jason arrives just as Michael flies into a rage after Robin tells him he needs to take things slowly.

Claudia lays into Olivia when she sees her kissing Johnny. Johnny shocks Claudia when he makes it clear he’d throw her to the wolves if she did anything to harm Olivia.

Claudia feels Michael is the key to protecting herself.

Elizabeth and Alexis grow more and more certain that Rebecca is up to no good. Nikolas and Rebecca can’t control themselves any longer and make love. Rayner tells Alexis that Rebecca didn’t grow up with her biological parents because she was adopted illegally on the black market but he isn’t sure whether or not she knows about it.

Ethan and Luke decide to have a DNA test done without Tracy’s knowledge.

IT HAPPENED TODAY…

“Mother Knows Bess”

Bess feels the walls closing in on her when a fleet of cops, along with Bo, Viki and Clint arrive at the Brennan’s. After fleeing up the stairs and locking herself in a bedroom with Hope, Bess is confronted by Tess. Wanting to try and protect a fragile Jessica as much as possible, Viki formulates a radical plan in the hopes she’ll be able to get through to Bess. Natalie and Jared explain what’s going on to a confused Phil and Cindy, who are bolstered by the fact they really do have a grandchild when Natalie tells them about Bree.

Starr tries to tell Langston how she feels about the baby. Meanwhile, Cole admits to Markko he wants to keep the baby but won’t ask Starr to go back on her promise to Marcie. Starr wonders to Langston what the future holds for her and Cole. Cole tells Markko he wants to be with Starr no matter what she decides about the baby. Starr is relieved when Cole shows up.

Rachel questions Nora’s motives for accepting Clint’s proposal.

IT HAPPENED TODAY…

Marissa tells Scott she knows who Stuart’s killer is: her father, David.

Marissa calls Krystal for help when she finds David drunk and out of control. A drunken David begs Krystal to come back to him. The doctor roughly grabs Krystal when she insists they’re through and violently tries to push her wedding ring back on her finger. Scott punches David in the face when he arrives on the scene.

Zach tells D.A. Henry North that his confession was false but maintains his ex-wife’s innocence. Zach is released from prison. Ryan suggests that Zach marry Kendall so that he doesn’t have to testify against her.

Pete and Colby commiserate over their parents dysfunctional relationships.

Having learned Liza slept with Zach, Erica becomes even more convinced that the lawyer is Stuart’s real killer. Colby catches Erica snooping in Liza’s room at the Yacht Club.
