I absolutely fell in love with Billy,” said Jenkins when Soap Opera Network spoke with the actor in the gifting suite at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA as part of Daytime Emmy weekend. “There’s not a whole lot of characters you see that are so multi-layered and interesting that way. I had a chance to meet with the producers to discuss the character and the show, and it just seemed like a good fit,” added Jenkins, who noted that the conversation he had with producers on the character helped give him something to dig into before the cameras began to roll.

As previously reported, “The 41st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards” will air live exclusively on the internet for the first time on Sunday, June 22 from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. While you get yourself prepared to watch daytime’s biggest night online, The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) has announced the presenter lineup for the telecast, which includes several of daytime’s biggest names from soap operas, talk shows and game shows, among many other genres airing during the daypart.

She’s nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her portrayal as Kristen DiMera on NBC’s “Days of our Lives,” and to celebrate Eileen Davidson will appear on the Thursday, June 19 edition of Hallmark Channel’s “Home & Family.” During her taped appearance, Davidson talks with hosts Mark Steines and Christina Ferrare about her nomination, her brief return to “DAYS’ and recently signing a contract with CBS’ “The Young and the Restless,” where she’s portrayed the popular role of Ashley Abbott off and on since 1982. She also reveals that the length of her contract with “Y&R,” which includes the ability to appear on “DAYS” from time to time as well, is for two years. Both soaps are owned and produced by Sony Pictures Television.
