On the Wednesday, October 1 episode of NBC’s “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” entitled “American Disgrace,” former “One Life to Live” star Kelley Missal (ex-Dani Manning) will appear as an alleged rape victim of pro basketball star Shakir “The Shark” Wilkins (guest star Henry Simmons; “NYPD Blue,” “Another World”). In the episode, Orion press rep Carla Cannon (Missal) tells reporters she was raped by Wilkins. The final week of the 2013-2014 television season came to a close last week (week of September 15-19, 2014) and CBS Daytime ended the year on top for the 28th consecutive year! “The Bold and the Beautiful” attracted its largest audience since the 2006-07 television season, while “The Young and the Restless” scored its most watched season in viewers since the 2009-10 television season. Meanwhile, “Let’s Make a Deal” and “The Talk” hit their best numbers ever in viewers as “The Price is Right 1” delivered its largest audience since the 2004-05 season and “The Price is Right 2” brought in its biggest audience since the 2006-07 season.
Soap Opera Network first reported on the possibility in early July, while speaking with “The Bold and the Beautiful” executive producer and head writer Bradley P. Bell, and now it is official: The daytime drama series will film a romantic story on the canals of Amsterdam the first week of October, the soap announced yesterday, September 24.
While it has yet to even be confirmed that “The Young and the Restless'” Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott) has joined the cast of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” much less the rumored $750,000 payday she’s reportedly said to be receiving for working on the reality series – a record for a new cast member – Radar Online is reporting that Davidson is already feuding with co-star Kim Richards.
As previously reported, “The Young and the Restless'” Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) are heading down the aisle one more time, but before the happy occasion can take place, they along with several of their closest friends and family members are heading to lockup! Set to air on Tuesday, September 30, CBS has released a first look clip of the pre-celebration of the joining of the high school sweethearts, who are determined to put the past behind them and face the future together once more.
Just as Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) get ready to head down the aisle one more time, cast members from CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” took time out of their busy schedule to pose for their mug shots in a hilarious photo gallery posted on Entertainment Tonight‘s website. If you thought it was all for laughs, however, think again!
With his character married to Summer (Hunter King), following an altercation with Paul (Doug Davidson) that resulted in Genoa City’s top cop getting shot, it was only a matter of time before “The Young and the Restless” locked down actor Matthew Atkinson (Austin) with a contract. CBS Soaps In Depth is reporting the soap has done just that!
