With his hit primetime series getting canceled by A&E in late August, despite bringing in some of the largest audiences for the network overall, that hasn’t stopped former “Longmire” and “As The World Turns” actor Bailey Chase (ex-Chris Hughes) from moving on with his career. Chase has landed a multi-episode arc on NBC’s “Chicago P.D.,” reports Deadline Hollywood.
Chase is set to portray the role of DEA Agent David Lang, who will interact with Erin Lindsay (played by Sophia Bush) following his name being dropped in episodes leading up to his first appearance. Per Deadline, Lang is looking to poach Lindsay for a new task force he is leading. No word yet on when the episodes featuring Chase will air.
Also starring another “ATWT” alum, Jesse Soffer (ex-Will Munson), “Chicago P.D.” airs Wednesdays at 10:00 PM ET/PT on NBC.
