As previously reported, actor Matt Cohen (“How to Get Away with Murder”) has recently joined the cast of ABC’s “General Hospital” in the role of Griffin Munro, Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) new doctor who shares a past connection with someone already in Port Charles. On the Tuesday, December 16 edition of NBCUniversal’s syndicated daytime talker, “The Steve Harvey Show,” former “Days of our Lives” actress Alison Sweeney (ex-Sami Brady) sits down with Steve Harvey to talk about her two-decade long run on “DAYS,” her hosting duties on NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” and her novel, “Scared Scriptless.” In your first look clip, Sweeney reveals that it was hard to leave the daytime soap she called home since she was a teenager and that she’s kept in touch with her former colleagues via social media. Sweeney also revealed that she’s been back to direct several episodes of the daytime drama series since completing filming last May as Sami.

As previously reported, the cast of “Knots Landing” will reunite on the Thursday, December 11 edition of Hallmark Channel’s “Home & Family.” In your first look at the reunion, cast members of the popular primetime soap opera – Donna Mills, Joan Van Ark, Michele Lee, Ted Shackelford and Kevin Dobson – sat down with hosts Mark Steines and Cristina Ferrare to discuss life after the cul-de-sac, while also taking time to celebrate Mills’ birthday.

It seems like forever ago since we reported Susan Lucci (ex-Erica Kane, “All My Children”) got a wonderful surprise while visiting NBCUniversal’s syndicated daytime talker, “The Meredith Vieira Show,” via a reunion of sorts with former “AMC” co-star, Walt Willey (ex-Jackson Montgomery). In your first look at the episode, airing Tuesday, December 2, Lucci tells host Meredith Vieira how her character on the ABC Daytime soap opera helped many immigrants learn to speak English. Later the two take part in a Soap Opera Showdown, which included Willey as a surprise participant alongside Lucci.

Before becoming Thor for millions of fans in the “Thor” film series or “The Avengers” cinematic universe, actor Chris Hemsworth was probably best known for his role on the Australian soap “Home and Away,” where he played Kimberly Jonathan “Kim” Hyde. Now a major movie star, Hemsworth has graced the cover of People Magazine as its “Sexiest Man Alive!” He’s not the only one though as several of daytime’s biggest and brightest stars of today and yesterday have also made the annual list of sexy men, which hits newsstands today.

As previously reported, the men of CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” will be appearing on the Wednesday, November 26 edition of syndicated daytime talk show, “The Queen Latifah Show.” Look for “Y&R’s” Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott), Justin Hartley (Adam Newman), Daniel Goddard (Cane Ashby), Bryton James (Devon Hamilton) and Joshua Morrow (Nicholas Newman) to have a sit down chat with host Queen Latifah as they talk about their best “Y&R” kisses and their first scenes. Look for Bergman to reminisce on his 25 years at the soap while Hartley shows off his famous dimples! With the return of Kristen DiMera on NBC’s “Days of our Lives” next year, following the return of Eileen Davidson to the set on Friday, November 14, Soap Opera Network has your first look at the actress in scenes set to air in 2015. While details of her return are scarce, we can’t help but wonder who Kristen will be interacting with when she opens the DiMera doors.

Thursday, December 4 at 3:00 PM, ET/12:00 PM, PT, marks the beginning of Chapter 13 of “The Bay: The Series,” the much beloved web series created by Gregori J. Martin.
