If you tuned into the new OWN/Tyler Perry series, “If Loving You Is Wrong,” during its premiere Tuesday night, then you’re all too aware that the steamy drama series is nearly too hot to handle! Scandalous sex scenes, drugs, affairs, love, families and friendship are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the topics offered on the show, which ended up being the most-watched series premiere in OWN history! Since former “All My Children” star Aiden Turner (ex-Aidan Devane) is smack dab in the middle of the excitement as the stuffy-yet-lovable character Brad, Soap Opera Network met with him to get the lowdown on working with creator/writer/director Tyler Perry, his embarrassing first meeting with Oprah Winfrey and what lies ahead for Brad on the sizzling series!

In conjunction with the new season launch of “Deadly Affairs” starring Susan Lucci (“All My Children,” “Devious Maids”) on Saturday, August 16 at 10:00 PM ET/9:00 PM CT, Investigation Discovery has announced the return of its daytime soap block hosted by several adored past and present soap stars. The block consists of encore episodes of some of the network’s most scandalous series, such as “Wives with Knives,” “My Dirty Little Secret,” “Scorned: Love Kills” and “Evil Twins.” Taking in the soap block as hosts are “General Hospital’s” Lynn Herring and Kin Shriner, “Days of our Lives’” Mary Beth Evans and Wally Kurth, Lamon Archey from “The Young and the Restless,” Darnell Williams from “All My Children” and telenovela actress Katie Barberi (“Dona Barbara”). The block kicks off Monday, August 25 with “Sinful Secrets Week.”

The OnLine Network has announced that Matthew Cowles is returning to “All My Children” as his now undead character, Billy Clyde Tuggle, who resurfaces to cause some trouble as the owner of an escort service. The actor, who debuts on Thursday, May 16, will play a role in helping find Cassandra Foster, Angie and Jesse Hubbard’s (Debbi Morgan and Darnell Williams) daughter, who was recently kidnapped as part of a sex trafficking ring. The character will also interact with Dixie Martin (Cady McClain), who fans will recall Billy Clyde was trying to get to marry him before he plunged to his “death” more than 20 years ago.

A character proclaims, “Pine Valley lost a part of its soul that night, but today the sun shines bright.” That day in particular is Monday, April 29, when “All My Children” premieres with all new episodes via Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes with Pine Valley’s citizens having picked things up five years after that traumatic night Adam Chandler (David Canary) and Brooke English (Julia Barr) celebrated their engagement and a shot went off. Fans will quickly be able to jump right back into the soap where “cute, sexy, action and adventure, romance and sex” may be a simple way to summarize the storytelling on any given daytime soap, but on “AMC” things are just all the better.

Those fans who were a little concerned with the news that Prospect Park’s “All My Children” will be racier, edgier and filled with profanity when it debuts on iTunes, Hulu and Hulu Plus on Monday, April 29 may be able to breathe a slight sigh of relief: According to Darnell Williams (Jesse Hubbard) and Debbi Morgan (Angie Hubbard), the risqué language started strong, but has since taken a bit of a backseat!

For more than 41 years ABC’s “All My Children” entertained millions of viewers each and every weekday, week after week, year after year. Sadly, the network canceled the soap in 2011 and the series aired its then final episode in September of that year. Now, in anticipation of its return on Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes on Monday, April 29, The OnLine Network has released a recap of the series as narrated by Debbi Morgan (Angie Hubbard).

If you haven’t yet had a chance to meet some of your favorite “All My Children” stars via the very popular A Tribute to Pine Valley tour, then you’re in luck: Three more dates and locations have been added to the successful tour!

Soap Opera Network has learned that television newcomer Caitlainne Rose Gurreri has landed the heavily recurring role of Eileen on TOLN’s “All My Children.” The actress is understood to be featured alongside Sal Stowers (Cassandra Foster) in a ripped from the headlines like storyline that sources say finds the characters of Jesse Hubbard (Darnell Williams) and Zach Slater (Thorsten Kaye) working together to bring down Vlad and Yuri, who are involved in a sex trafficking ring.

As the old saying goes, a happy employee is a productive employee. And that must be a mantra Prospect Park believes in. According to the actors who have signed on to the serial dramas, “All My Children” and “One Life to Live,” the production company — headed by Jeff Kwatinetz and Richard Frank — has batted a thousand when it comes to being respectfully in charge. And the end result, as the performers preview, is pure magic.

When “All My Children” stars originally signed on to the A Tribute to Pine Valley tour, they viewed it as their last opportunity to say heartfelt, personal goodbyes to their most loyal fans. But now, with the show set to debut on TOLN on Monday, April 29, they’re looking at the tour dates as chances to party! And guess what? Two more celebratory Tribute dates have been added!

There are lots of questions surrounding the Monday, April 29 launch of “All My Children” on The OnLine Network (TOLN), the main one being, “What can we expect?” Debbi Morgan (Angie Hubbard), Darnell Williams (Jessie Hubbard) and David Canary (Adam Chandler) took that question by storm during the show’s first official photo shoot in February, and while they couldn’t reveal storyline details, the three stars did open up about the high number of new and young faces on the show, how the shorter 30-minute time slot will affect their acting and how they feel about the women who hold Pine Valley’s future in their hands.

The OnLine Network (TOLN) has confirmed the following stars who have joined the cast of “All My Children.”
As previously reported, “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” began production on Monday, February 25 in Stamford, CT for new episodes scheduled to release later this spring on Hulu and iTunes. Today, The OnLine Network (TOLN) announced the following contract cast for the reboot of “AMC”:

You can now add Cady McClain to the already confirmed list of stars returning to “All My Children.” The actress announced via her official website that she has been contacted by Prospect Park for their “AMC” reboot, which is set to premiere sometime this spring (likely April) via Hulu and iTunes. “I am very excited about the possibilities for the show in this medium and want to help give it every chance at success,” the actress said in a statement. “As you probably know by now, I am fascinated with all the many possibilities for creative expression that the Internet has to offer. I have a feeling the show will find many new opportunities for connecting with fans and I look forward to being a part of that as well,” she added.

Prospect Park first announced plans to move “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” to the web back in July 2011 after striking a license holding deal with Disney/ABC Domestic Television. Sadly, plans fell through by November 2011 after apparent financing and union discussions fell through. Since that dreadful time period, Prospect Park has resumed work on returning the soaps to your [computer] screens, only this time with financing said to be in place and union deals already signed with the DGA (directors), SAG-AFTRA (actors) and the WGA (writers). With more than a year gone by since “One Life to Live” last aired, we thought it would be a great opportunity to see which stars have (so far) signed on to return to “AMC” and “OLTL” compared to the list circling back in 2011.
