Background: Errol is one of the premier voices covering all five daily daytime dramas, including "Beyond the Gates," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "Days of our Lives," "General Hospital" and "The Young and the Restless." He began watching soaps in 1993, around the time Luke and Laura Spencer returned to “General Hospital,” but they weren’t what got him watching regularly. “It was Lucy Coe and her duck Sigmond,” he says of how he got started with soaps.

He received his BA from Baruch College, double-majoring in English Literature and Journalism, and double-minoring in Communications and Psychology. He also holds an AA in Business Administration.

While she’s currently under contract with CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” as Ashley Abbott, Eileen Davidson is set to once again reprise her role of Kristen DiMera on NBC’s “Days of our Lives” next year, reports Access Hollywood, which has an exclusive first look at Davidson in the DiMera mansion while filming scenes this past Friday, November 14. Davidson is slated to begin airing in the spring of 2015, based on the current filming schedule of the daytime drama series, Soap Opera Network has learned.

When “Days of our Lives'” Will Horton left Salem last month to join his mom and younger siblings on a Los Angeles adventure, fans of Will and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) were left wondering what that would mean for daytime’s only married gay couple and their future together, considering it was stated that Will would be gone for upwards of six months. Turns out six months is just several weeks in the world of soap operas as Will’s portrayer, Guy Wilson, tells Soap Opera Network that he’ll be back on air sooner than you think. “It was written as six months, but it’s not going to be six months,” he shares, while noting, “something will happen that will force Will to return early.” Whether that something has to do with the trouble heading Sonny’s way, or the mystery Will finds himself looking to solve right alongside his father, Lucas (Bryan Dattilo), the actor is definitely looking forward to seeing what’s ahead on “DAYS” play out on air.

“She has her own style. She has her own sense of order. She has her own gun. Justice is sweet,” reads the tag from the newly released film, “Miss Meadows,” starring actress Katie Holmes (“Dawson’s Creek”) as a substitute teacher who on the surface is well mannered and full of grace, but secretly takes matters into her own hands when life appears out of control and no one else is around to make things right. “The Young and the Restless'” Kate Linder (Esther Valentine) co-stars in the film as Principal Trudy Navis.

When former “Days of our Lives” star Peter Reckell (ex-Bo Brady) tweeted several weeks back about a possible return to the daytime drama series, his comments not only grabbed the attention of his fans and the soap press, but his former on screen love interest, Kristian Alfonso (Hope Brady), as well. In an interview with the actress, Alfonso provides Soap Opera Network with insight on why Hope doesn’t need anyone’s permission to move on with her life, how the relationship between Aiden Jennings (Daniel Cosgrove) and Hope is a new, but sweet kind of love, and why she was surprised Reckell said what he did on social media.

With the return of Adam Newman to the canvas (Justin Hartley)*, albeit nearly faceless, and the Sharon/Phyllis reveal, CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” attracted its largest audience since March, while increasing week-to-week in Women 18-49, Women 25-54 and Women 18-34, according to newly released Nielsen Live+SD ratings data for the week of November 3-7, 2014.

While the full music video has yet to be released, and we’re sure it’ll be well worth the wait, Soap Opera Network has your first look at Roxanna‘s newest music video featuring former “Days of our Lives” star James Scott (ex-EJ DiMera), entitled “Here With Me.” The song features Grammy award winning trumpeter, Chris Botti, who has recently made headlines everywhere for his emotional national anthem performance, as Roxanna and Scott’s characters ignite their passion in the prequel to their 2012 “Unforgotten” collaboration.
