RATINGS: ‘Y&R’ Hits Season High In Viewers, ‘B&B’ Draws Its Second-Largest Audience

For the week of November 17-21, 2014, CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” hit a season high in total viewers with an average of 5.06 million viewers tuning in each day. “The Bold and the Beautiful” also attracted its second largest weekly audience of the season with 3.74 million viewers. Numbers are based on Nielsen Media Research Live+Same Day ratings data.

Compared to the previous week, “Y&R” was up 4% in viewers and grew 5% in Women 25-54 (2.0/12) and 8% in Women 18-49 (1.3/9). “B&B” was up 1% in viewers.

In addition to “Y&R,” for the week CBS’ “Let’s Make a Deal,” “The Price is Right” and “The Talk” also attracted their largest audiences of the season, posting week-to-week increases. “Talk” averaged 2.82 million viewers, up 7% from the prior week, and increased 10% in Women 25-54 (1.1/6).

Broken into two parts, “Deal 1” averaged 3.23 million viewers, up 9% from its previous week. It was up 11% in Women 25-54 (1.0/7) and 17% in Women 18-49 (0.7/5). “Deal 2” averaged 3.71 million viewers, up 8%. The show was also up 22% in Women 25-54 (1.1/7) and 33% in Women 18-49 (0.8/6). Meanwhile, “Price 1” averaged 5.10 million viewers, up 4%, while increasing 11% in Women 18-49 (1.0/7). “Price 2” attracted daytime’s most watched week when it averaged 5.84 million viewers, up 4% in viewers, with a gain of 7% in Women 25-54 (1.5/9).
