It’s “General Hospital” like you’ve never seen before when Nancy Lee Grahn, who plays Alexis Davis on the soap, takes viewers behind the scenes of daytime’s most dynamic soap opera via her new ABC.com series, “General Hospital Now,” which the actress had been teasing on social media for several weeks. “Now” is described as a show about Grahn’s daytime drama series “with a big dose of funny or die or be in a coma.” Set to premiere in January 2015, earlier today ABC released the first promo of the series on ABC.com.
“General Hospital Now” features sit down interviews with several of Grahn’s castmates and discussion with a celebrity panel of fans of the soap, including comedians Sarah Colonna (“Chelsea Lately”), Jimmy Pardo (“Comedy Bang! Bang!”) and Jen Kober (“American Reunion”). “Grey’s Anatomy” star Justin Chambers (Alex Karev) is also set to make an appearance on the series.
Some of the “GH” stars spotted on the upcoming series include Sebastian Roché (ex-Jerry Jacks), Lisa LoCicero (Olivia Falconeri), Jason Thompson (Patrick Drake), Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones), Emme Rylan (Lulu Falconeri, Michelle Stafford (Nina Clay), William deVry (Julian Jerome), Kristen Alderson (Kiki Jerome), Vinessa Antoine (Jordan Ashford), Sean Blakemore (Shawn Butler), Chad Duell (Michael Corinthos), Ian Buchanan (Duke Lavery), Ryan Paevey (Nathan West) and Ryan Carnes (Lucas Jones), among several others.
