“General Hospital’s” Jake (James Nigbor) hasn’t been the same since he was rescued from the Cassadine compound. There’s something off and menacing about Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Jason’s (Billy Miller) son. What happened to the boy, while he was in captivity that caused the personality shift? And, more importantly, is Sam (Kelly Monaco) safe from ‘The Bad Seed’ Helena (Constance Towers) created?

Now that Billy Miller has played out his final scenes as “The Young and the Restless’” Billy Abbott (in a gripping finale in which both he and Michael Muhney’s Adam Newman careened off an icy road after a dramatic showdown regarding the hit and run death of Delia), former portrayer David Tom has stepped back into the role of Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) hubby. Meanwhile, viewers were shocked to see Marco Dapper return as the very-much-alive Carmine Basco on Friday, January 31! So how did the returns of both actors rate?

On Monday, September 26, 2011, ABC premiered a new daytime talk show that brought food back to the table and into our everyday lives. Now in its third season, “The Chew” is currently enjoying one of its highest rated on record in both total viewers and key women sales demos. As the talk show celebrated its 500th episode yesterday, fans of the ABC version of “All My Children” continued to mourn the loss of their favorite daytime soap opera, which made Susan Lucci and her character Erica Kane a household name to mainstream viewers.

In the press release announcing the season one finales of “All My Children” and “One Life to Live,” Prospect Park’s The OnLine Network (TOLN) also announced “that future seasons of the shows will benefit from the launch of a new, user-friendly web portal and app that will make it even easier for fans to connect with their favorite characters and will take their level of interaction to a whole new level.” So what does that even mean?

For months, and in numerous articles, Soap Opera Network stated the following line: “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” both premiere on Monday, April 29 via Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes. Well, the big day finally arrived and is now over and done with. So, we have to ask readers…how did you watch the soaps? Hulu, Hulu Plus or iTunes?

At Forrester, Rick and Eric observed some models wearing new lingerie designs. Aside from a few little details, Eric approved. Taylor, followed by Thomas arrived and Thomas hissed that the lingerie won’t do for the company what his ideas would have done. Rick disagreed. Taylor sided with her son and warned that Brooke would bring nothing but scandal.

Brooke awoke after the car accident. She stumbled out of the car and searched for the other victim, who she soon discovered was Bill. Bill, clearly hurt, woke up in a stupor and tried to act like he was ok. Brooke was adamant about calling for help until she realized Bill had been drinking. She told him to move over and let her drive. She drove to her house. Outside, Bill apologized to her. Meanwhile, a police officer discovered Brooke’s totaled car, plus another set of car tracks on the road and contacted Lt. Baker.

IT HAPPENED LAST WEEK…

Bill visited Brooke at Forrester and asked if she took his advice and talked to Eric the previous night. “I didn’t get that far because I saw Taylor in her lingerie in Eric’s bedroom!” Brooke replied. Bill thought it was funny and joked that Eric must be hitting the little blue pill hard.
