Since the news broke that “General Hospital’s” Jack Wagner (Frisco Jones) was set to appear in an episode of Nick At Nite’s original series, “See Dad Run,” fans have been chomping at the bit for either more details or a chance to see the star in action on the family sitcom. Well, the time has come for both!

In the 60th anniversary special double issue of TV Guide Magazine (April 8 – 21, 2013), ABC’s “General Hospital” secured a four-page spread on its 50th anniversary, but Luke and Laura Spencer (Anthony Geary and Genie Francis) ultimately secured the biggest spotlight of them all. The dynamic duo, in their famous wedding shot compiled of past covers of TV Guide Magazine, received the back cover spot of the mag which features the hit shows from every decade since the publications launch including “I Love Lucy” (1950s), “Star Trek” (1960s), “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” (1970s), “The Cosby Show” (1980s), “The Simpsons” (1990s) and “Lost” (2000s) on special collector’s edition front cover copies of the celebratory issue.

“General Hospital” has seen a whirlwind of publicity celebrating its 50th Anniversary, and it looks like “Katie” is the next show to join in on the fun and feature the iconic soap and its beloved stars. Host Katie Couric and an audience filled with die-hard “GH” fans will be spending a full hour paying homage to the long-running drama, and several Port Charles residents are slated to participate!

As previously reported by Soap Opera Network, ABC News’ “20/20” will be honoring the 50th anniversary of ABC’s “General Hospital” on Saturday, April 6. Dubbed “‘General Hospital’ – The Real Soap Dish,” Katie Couric will take viewers behind the scenes of the fictional town of Port Charles, NY. The hour-long special will include interviews with such “GH” stars as Anthony Geary (Luke Spencer), Genie Francis (Laura Spencer), Jack Wagner (Frisco Jones), Rick Springfield (Noah Drake), Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall), Lisa LoCicero (Olivia Falconeri) and many more. Fans will also get to hear from Frank Valentini, who has spearheaded the soap into increased ratings since taking over as executive producer in January 2012.

“General Hospital’s” Jack Wagner (Frisco Jones) has been a busy man. In addition to his upcoming Sunday, March 17 appearance on “Celebrity Apprentice” with “All My Children’s” Susan Lucci (Erica Kane), which you can read more about here, he’s also set to appear on Nick at Nite’s new original series, “See Dad Run”!

On Friday, March 1, during the east coast broadcast of ABC’s “General Hospital”” (2:00 – 3:00 PM ET/11:00 AM – 12:00 PM PT), fans of Jack Wagner (Frisco Jones) will be able to chat live with the soap star as he discusses his characters quest to win the heart of ex-wife Felicia (Kristina Wagner). In the episode, Frisco reiterates his intention to win Felicia back, and later Felicia confides her quandary to Duke (Ian Buchanan), who urges her to face the problem head on.

As previously reported, Jack Wagner is returning to ABC’s “General Hospital” to reprise his role as Frisco Jones on the daytime drama series. Soap Opera Network first reported on word of Wagner’s return to the set on Monday, January 14, following a now squashed Twitter controversy surrounding the actor and now co-star Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis). The two appeared separately in the Monday, January 7 episode of “Castle,” which also happens to air on ABC.

As Soap Opera Network first noted last week, actor Jack Wagner has quietly returned to the set of ABC’s “General Hospital” as he reprises the role of Frisco Jones on the daytime soap. According to set side sources and a recent report by TV Guide’s Michael Logan, Wagner’s return will coincide with “GH’s” 50th Anniversary celebration. While details are scarce, sources tell Soap Opera Network that the network will kick off a week long celebration beginning with the Monday, April 1 broadcast that also happens to be the same day “General Hospital” aired its first episode 50 years prior.

Despite appearing in an episode of “Castle” last Monday, even if they didn’t share any scenes together, actress Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) took on the topic of Jack Wagner while chatting it up with fans on Twitter during last nights “Golden Globe” Awards broadcast on NBC. The actress talked herself into a Twitter controversy courtesy of a tweet she made in regards to Wagner when she said, “Does anyone else think Bon Jovi looks like a less drunk Jack Wagner?” The tweet has since been removed from her page.

As previously reported, soap star and recent dancing fiend Jack Wagner was a scheduled guest on the daily syndicated talk show “Anderson Cooper.” The actor filmed his appearance earlier today at the New York studio of the talk show, which is scheduled to air on Tuesday, April 10 in national syndication, and was joined by his newly discovered 23-year-old daughter, Kerry.

Jack Wagner, 52, is a soap opera legend and singer, but for millions of viewers he’s a dancing star courtesy of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” The actor joined the 14th cycle (season) of the reality-competition series along with such celebrities as Melissa Gilbert (actor, “Little House on the Prairie”), Sherri Shepherd (talk show host and actress, “The View”), Jaleel White (actor, “Family Matters”), Gladys Knight (singer), Donald Driver (NFL star, “Green Bay Packers”), William Levy (latin soap star), Katherine Jenkins (opera star), Gavin DeGraw (singer), Martina Navratilova (tennis star), Roshon Fegan (actor, “Shake It Up!) and Maria Menounos (TV host and correspondent), but what fans truly want to know is if Wagner is heading back to ABC’s “General Hospital” after being taken off contract by CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” in early February.

Just days before next cycle’s “Dancing with the Stars” cast is announced during Monday’s episode of ABC’s “Bachelor Pad,” comes word that actor Jack Wagner, who portrays Nick Marone on CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful,” is rumored to be joining the cast in the upcoming 11th season of the hit ABC reality-competition series.
