Zach Tinker has been cast as Sonny Kiriakis on “Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem,” the Peacock limited series spinoff of “Days of our Lives.” Chandler Massey and Greg Rikaart also reprising roles.

NBC and Sony Pictures Television are in active contract negotiations for a 57th season of “Days of our Lives.” Meanwhile, actors are being offered “if-come” deals to return should an agreement be reached.

“Days of our Lives” has reportedly wrapped production on its current 56th season. The soap is now awaiting word on renewal or cancellation orders from NBC.

Chandler Massey is set to reprise his role as Will Horton on “Days of our Lives” this holiday season when the character visits Salem.
