Chandler Massey is heading back to Salem, USA this holiday season when Will Horton pays a return visit on “Days of our Lives.”

Intuitive fans watching the annual extended promo for the soap, released earlier today, were in for a surprise when they saw Will’s sister, Allie (Lindsay Arnold), hugging her brother as she wished him a Merry Christmas. A smiling Will wished his sister the same as he returned her embrace.

No word yet on how long Will will be back in town, nor whether he’s by himself or whether his spouse, Sonny Kiriakis (last played by Freddie Smith), will be joining him. Both characters exited the soap on September 1, months after word broke that the show decided to let their portrayers go shortly after the series returned to filming earlier this year after an extended hiatus that resulted in the entire cast being let go as a cost-saving measure during renewal talks with NBC.
