As “One Life to Live” gets ready to conclude its run on ABC in January 2012, the soap continues with more comings and goings. What follows are the latest comings and goings as the calendar changes from November to December.

Tonja Walker brings popular villainess Alex Olanov back to “One Life to Live” for four episodes that began on Thursday, November 17, when it was revealed that she has a shocking connection to another Llanview resident, Cutter Wentworth (Josh Kelly). Walker’s other airdates include November 18, 21, and 22.

Jason Tam returns to “One Life to Live” as Markko Rivera the same day the show wraps production on its ABC Daytime run.

As we previously reported, “One Life to Live” was forced to replace Brandon Buddy with Van Hughes in the role of Cole Thornhart just one day after Buddy reprised the character for an upcoming storyline with ex-girlfriend Starr Manning (Kristen Alderson). Now the actor has taken to Twitter to apologize to fans for the sudden turn of events.

Talk about being two faced! After Stacy (Farah Fath) heads south of the Equator to Brazil this week to have her old plastic surgeon Dr. Fascinella make her look like her old self again, the doc himself finally gets a face of his own.

With several former cast members, whose characters are currently incarcerated in Statesville Prison for various crimes and offenses, many “One Life to Live” fans have been left wondering what the show has planned for them.

Looks like another ghostly return for “One Life to Live.” John Wesley Shipp, who played the abusive father of the Ford brothers and ex-husband of their mom Inez Salinger (Jessica Leccia) appears to be headed back to Llanview for the show’s final days on the air. But just what brings the murdered deadbeat dad back to the canvas?

“One Life to Live” is forced to recast the character of Cole Thornhart, who is serving a prison sentence for murdering Eli Clarke (Matt Walton) with Broadway star Van Hughes only one day after Brandon Buddy returned to the role.

Beginning next month, the show’s once popular soap-within-a-soap, “Fraternity Row,” gets canceled due to sagging ratings, leading one loyal Llanview fan to take drastic action to save her soap. The plot mirrors “OLTL’s” own predicament, having been dumped by ABC earlier this year.

John Loprieno who, alongside co-star Andrea Evans, recently reprised their roles as Llanview’s former supercouple Cord and Tina Roberts on “One Life to Live,” talks about his return to the show and what the future holds for both him and Cord.

Even though his character recently wound up on the wrong end of a gun, Trevor St. John is reportedly returning to “One Life to Live” to make one last appearance before the show wraps production on its television run next Friday.

With only one week left to go until production on its ABC Daytime run is finished, the list of former “One Life to Live” cast members returning to Llanview continues to grow.
