Background: Errol is one of the premier voices covering all five daily daytime dramas, including "Beyond the Gates," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "Days of our Lives," "General Hospital" and "The Young and the Restless." He began watching soaps in 1993, around the time Luke and Laura Spencer returned to “General Hospital,” but they weren’t what got him watching regularly. “It was Lucy Coe and her duck Sigmond,” he says of how he got started with soaps.
He received his BA from Baruch College, double-majoring in English Literature and Journalism, and double-minoring in Communications and Psychology. He also holds an AA in Business Administration.
Daytime newcomer Rory Gibson will take over the role of Noah Newman beginning this fall on “The Young and the Restless.”
“The Young and the Restless” is up week to week in Total Viewers and in Women 25-54 rating, showing substantial gains over its year ago performance while “General Hospital” is starting to show signs of concern with hefty losses.
Noah Huntley has been cast as Lord Sebastian Alamain in the Peacock original series “Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem,” Soap Opera Network can confirm exclusively.
Hooray for Skyle! Hunter King and Michael Mealor will be reprising their roles as Summer Newman and Kyle Abbott on “The Young and the Restless,” albeit briefly, in October.
Erika Slezak (“One Life to Live”) will next appear in the Hallmark Channel original movie, “Next Stop Christmas,” which is expected to be released this winter as part of the network’s upcoming annual Christmas movie slate.
Things are about to get icy when Phyllis and Sally go at it in front of Genoa City’s high society. Meanwhile, Mariah can’t wait to reunite with Tessa. Find out what else is going to happen during the week of August 30 on “The Young and the Restless.”
Dame Joan Collins recalls working with the late Michael Nader on “Dynasty” and how “All My Children” wouldn’t let him appear in a reunion special.
“The View” will launch its 25th season on Tuesday, September 7 on ABC with the remaining co-hosts back at the table and a fully vaccinated studio audience in place.
Story consultant Susan Dansby has decided to leave “The Young and the Restless” after just one year; plans to concentrate on writing a book, among other things.
