While she was on hand to make the initial announcement during last night’s special “Real Housewives”-themed Peacock event celebrating the launch of “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip,” Soap Opera Network can now confirm that Eileen Davidson will be part of the cast of “Days of our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas,” the first-ever “Days of our Lives” movie premiering next month on the streaming service.
In the holiday movie, Chandler Massey reprises his three-time Daytime Emmy Award-winning role as Will Horton who is under pressure to meet the Christmas Eve deadline for his next screenplay. Using everyone’s favorite feel-good holiday movie tropes, Will creates a festive story based on his family and friends in Salem — but with several twists and turns viewers will never see coming.
Davidson is expected to reprise her role as Kristen DiMera in the movie just as she did in “Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem,” the five-part spinoff series aired in early September on the streamer. The actress is currently appearing as a possessed version of the character on “DAYS” over multiple episodes throughout the month of November.
Additional cast announcements for “A Very Salem Christmas” are set to come in the days and weeks ahead, along with the first trailer, first look photos, and much more.
“Days of our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas” begins streaming Thursday, December 16, exclusively on Peacock.
