“Brilliant Minds” has been canceled after just two seasons at NBC, mere weeks before the drama returns to the network’s primetime schedule with its six remaining episodes.
On “Days of our Lives,” a new face for Javi Hernandez will make his way to Salem when actor Jacob Martinez takes over the role from Al Calderon beginning in June.
Emmy Award winner Vincent Irizarry (“All My Children,” “Guiding Light,” et al.) has been cast as the lead in the historical short film “His Name is John.”
On “General Hospital,” WSB Director Ross Collum could have been played by “Days of our Lives” actor Colton Little, who, in real life, is in a relationship with Adrian Anchondo, aka Marco Rios.
Per a recent update to the show’s end credits, Elia Cantu and Galen Gering have dropped to recurring status at “Days of our Lives,” though “Rafe and Jada are still in Salem.”
Though she won’t debut until early 2027, “General Hospital” alum Sofia Mattsson is returning to daytime, this time joining the cast of “Days of our Lives.”
“Days of our Lives” has recast the role of Lexie Carver, the long-thought-to-be-dead wife of Abe Carver (James Reynolds), with newcomer Nikki Crawford. She first airs on Friday, March 6.
Alice Halsey is exiting “Days of our Lives” as Rachel Black, with her final air date set for Thursday, March 5. She’ll next appear as Laura Ingalls in Netflix’s “Little House on the Prairie” adaptation.
Michael Roark, who made his “Days of our Lives” debut in October 2025 as Jeremy Horton, is exiting the series, with his last air date set for Wednesday, April 29.
“Brilliant Minds,” the primetime medical drama starring Zachary Quinto and soap alums Teddy Sears (“One Life to Live”) and Al Calderon (“Days of our Lives”), is facing cancellation.
