CBS has announced that Sheryl Underwood (co-host, “The Talk”) will reprise her role as Justice of the Peace Clarice Collins for the fourth time on the Monday, March 11 episode of the daytime drama series. In the episode, Underwood’s character will pronounce Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) man and wife for the upteenth time as Victor decides to throw his lovely “a wedding a day,” which Clarice is hired to perform just one of. Nikki, who was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, is in the hospital during the episode due to complications resulting from her medical condition. The actual wedding for the dynamic duo will air during the week of March 18.

“The Young and the Restless” will celebrate its 40th Anniversary on Tuesday, March 26. As part of the celebration the series has taken a cast photo that honors the history of the series as its moves forward to its next 40 years. The show has also released a behind the scenes video that shows how things came together.

Viewers keeping up with the latest “All My Children” comings and goings news know that Daytime Emmy nominated actress Alicia Minshew has been in discussions to return the internet revival of the soap opera she starred in from 2002 to 2011. TV Line broke the news on Thursday afternoon that the return of the eldest child of Erica Kane (Susan Lucci), Kendall Hart, as portrayed by Minshew is now a done deal. Minshew will make her return sooner than expected; she tapes scenes opposite Eden Riegel, who plays Kendall’s little sister Bianca Montgomery, later today as “AMC” wraps up its first round of taping. Seconds before TV Line put up the news bulletin, Minshew took to Twitter to exclaim to fans her impending plans: “Guess who is popping into Pine Valley for the day?…um me! Excited to see the gang tomorrow! Gonna wear Kendall’s sassy shoes!!”

In a press release issued by CBS, the network is touting the ongoing solid performance of its daytime lineup consisting of “The Bold and the Beautiful,” “The Young and the Restless,” “Let’s Make a Deal,” “The Price is Right” and “The Talk.” During the 2013 February Sweeps ratings period, each series increased in Total Viewers, as well as in the various women demographics from their same performance during the February 2012 Sweeps ratings period.

Tuesday, March 26 marks the 40th anniversary of “The Young and the Restless’” very first episode, and in celebration, the show is offering up plenty of special glimpses into its iconic past. For starters, the soap’s official website currently features 40th Anniversary photo galleries and videos, and there’s an option for fans to answer trivia questions for a chance to win a VIP trip to Los Angeles to tour the set and attend the show’s on-set Anniversary event. But as Angelica McDaniel, the Senior Vice President of CBS Daytime, says: The show’s 40th Anniversary is also the perfect opportunity to start focusing on what’s ahead.

Blake Berris may be best known for his role as Nick Fallon on “Days of our Lives,” but the young actor has been busy trying to make a name for himself via other avenues, as well. He’s recently made headway in the indie film circuit, and his latest project is Jane Clark’s “Meth Head,” a story about a man named Kyle, played by Lukas Haas (“Lincoln,” “Inception,” and “Brick”), who loses control of his life after becoming addicted to methamphetamines.

Just hours after news broke that “The Young and the Restless’” star Emme Rylan (Abby Newman) was leaving the show and headed to play “General Hospital’s” Lulu Spencer, word spread that the soap had already replaced her! A CBS spokesperson has confirmed to Soap Opera Network that the drama series has tapped actress Melissa Ordway to take over the role of the Newman heiress.

There’s no doubt that “The Young and the Restless” has one of the hottest casts on daytime television — strike that, all of television — and as the show gears up for its 40th Anniversary, things are about to get even spicier! Soap Opera Network has learned that during the week of March 18, ABC’s “General Hospital” will be departing the “One Life to Live” characters consisting of Starr Manning (Kristen Alderson), Todd Manning (Roger Howarth) and John McBain (Michael Easton). As previously reported, ABC Daytime and Prospect Park have been in a dispute over the characters and their appearance on “GH” vs “One Life to Live,” which Prospect Park is rebooting for the web along with “All My Children” later this spring. The actors are under contract to ABC, while Prospect Park holds the license rights to the characters.

With “All My Children” currently filming its second weeks worth of shows and “One Life to Live” scheduled to begin filming on Monday, March 18, Soap Opera Network has learned new information about the studio NEP Broadcasting had been constructing for both soaps at the Connecticut Film Center (CFC) in Stamford, which previously housed production for the TBS sitcom “Are We There Yet?”

“The Bold and the Beautiful” patriarch Eric Forrester (John McCook) lost his other half, matriarch Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) just four months ago. This week, Eric goes full steam ahead and moves his recent new love Dr. Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) into the Forrester Fold! Prospect Park has asked “All My Children” cast members to keep a lid on details regarding the new Pine Valley — but did you really think they’d be able to keep quiet about everything for long? Heck no! There’s plenty of behind-the-scenes buzz flying around Facebook and Twitter, and from what we can tell, AMC 2.0 is going to rock your world!

First of all, there’s a rumor going around that we may — just may — catch a glimpse of Dr. David Hayward’s yummy tush. If your heart is pumping a little faster over that bit of delicious news, he’ll no doubt be glad (he is a cardiologist, after all)! Could we also be privy to seeing Pine Valley’s other sexy doc, Griffin, in the nude? “I don’t know!” tweets portrayer Jordi Vilasuso. “I’ve heard things, but I haven’t been asked for the Full Monty.”

On Tuesday, February 26, just one day after resuming production on “All My Children” after more than a year a half since ending its ABC run, the cast of the soap got together on set to perform “The Harlem Shake” for the TOLN Extras YouTube channel, where fans can get up close and personal with their favorite TOLN stars. Earlier today TOLN released the performance of “Harlem Shake,” while also announcing that soap fans will soon learn THIS WEEK when “AMC” will premiere on Hulu, Hulu Plus, and iTunes. Previously, the network only noted that “AMC” and sister soap “One Life to Live” would premiere this spring.

PREVIOUS 3/3/13 8:40 PM ET: According to his Twitter page, “Rock of Ages” understudy Jake Boyd has joined the cast of TOLN’s “All My Children” in the role of Dylan Wilder. Information on the character was unknown at press time.
