On the Thursday, May 2 episode of "All My Children," The OnLine Network finally revealed what the ABC finale in 2011 left viewers clamoring to know...Who Did JR Shoot? Fans will remember that the character was drunk and aiming his gun at at unknown individual(s) when shots were fired and the show faded to black. Now in 2013, we have our answer and sadly, some of you will not be happy.
"Due to unforeseen circumstances the Jacksonville, Nashville and Cleveland shows have been cancelled. Refunds are available at the point of purchase," is the message posted on the official website of A Tribute to Pine Valley, which has held events around the country honoring the 41 year life and history of ABC's "All My Children."

A character proclaims, "Pine Valley lost a part of its soul that night, but today the sun shines bright." That day in particular is Monday, April 29, when "All My Children" premieres with all new episodes via Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes with Pine Valley's citizens having picked things up five years after that traumatic night Adam Chandler (David Canary) and Brooke English (Julia Barr) celebrated their engagement and a shot went off. Fans will quickly be able to jump right back into the soap where "cute, sexy, action and adventure, romance and sex" may be a simple way to summarize the storytelling on any given daytime soap, but on "AMC" things are just all the better.
The behind-the-scenes drama that’s been brewing since Prospect Park filed a lawsuit against ABC on April 18 is about to get even soapier! According to a story in The Hollywood Reporter, Prospect Park producers wished to buy ad space for the revived “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” during broadcast soaps (“General Hospital,” “Days of our Lives,” “The Bold and the Beautiful,” and “The Young and the Restless”), but CBS and NBC allegedly refused to help promote the competition — and in light of the $25 million lawsuit Prospect Park launched against ABC, the alphabet network won’t be running spots for the show, either!
ABC has announced that "All My Children's" Vincent Irizarry (David Hayward) and Thorsten Kaye (Zach Slater) along with "One Life to Live's" Erika Slezak (Victoria Lord) will appear on the Thursday, April 25 edition of the networks "The View."

Just in case you “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” fans are still a bit confused as to how you can watch your favorite shows once they debut on iTunes, Hulu and Hulu Plus on Monday, April 29, Vincent Irizarry (David Hayward, “AMC”) has released a simple, straightforward viewing guide.
We’ve seen “All My Children’s” Cady McClain (Dixie Cooney) do a lot of outlandish stuff over the years in her daytime career (including marrying a guy who wears a chicken suit, being shot in the arm by her son, and being experimented on by Vincent Irizarry’s David Hayward), but her latest onscreen stunt is perhaps the most entertaining and fun thing she’s ever done before: Posing as Suzy Fucking Homemaker in order to humorously teach fans how to view the new versions of “AMC” and “OLTL.”
The anticipation for the online launch of “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” has been building for months, and with mere weeks left before the shows’ Monday, April 29 debut on Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes, it’s tough for fans to keep a lid on all of that excitement. And it’s about to get even harder to contain the joyous feelings, because several actors from both shows have given some pretty nice hints as to what you can expect once their alter egos reappear in Pine Valley and Llanview!

If you haven’t yet had a chance to meet some of your favorite “All My Children” stars via the very popular A Tribute to Pine Valley tour, then you’re in luck: Three more dates and locations have been added to the successful tour!
As the old saying goes, a happy employee is a productive employee. And that must be a mantra Prospect Park believes in. According to the actors who have signed on to the serial dramas, “All My Children” and “One Life to Live,” the production company — headed by Jeff Kwatinetz and Richard Frank — has batted a thousand when it comes to being respectfully in charge. And the end result, as the performers preview, is pure magic.
Taboo as the topic of sex might be, it’s one subject that never fails to demand rapt attention. Sex sells, and daytime dramas have always known it; the term “love in the afternoon” didn’t spring from nothing! But just how much more provocative will TOLN’s online soaps, “All My Children” and “One Life to Live,” be now that they’re no longer under strict network regulations? Soap Opera Network sat down with some of the show’s stars, all of whom were none too shy to open up and reveal the naked truth about the new love in the afternoon!
When “All My Children” stars originally signed on to the A Tribute to Pine Valley tour, they viewed it as their last opportunity to say heartfelt, personal goodbyes to their most loyal fans. But now, with the show set to debut on TOLN on Monday, April 29, they’re looking at the tour dates as chances to party! And guess what? Two more celebratory Tribute dates have been added!

Prospect Park has asked “All My Children” cast members to keep a lid on details regarding the new Pine Valley — but did you really think they’d be able to keep quiet about everything for long? Heck no! There’s plenty of behind-the-scenes buzz flying around Facebook and Twitter, and from what we can tell, AMC 2.0 is going to rock your world!First of all, there’s a rumor going around that we may — just may — catch a glimpse of Dr. David Hayward’s yummy tush. If your heart is pumping a little faster over that bit of delicious news, he’ll no doubt be glad (he is a cardiologist, after all)! Could we also be privy to seeing Pine Valley’s other sexy doc, Griffin, in the nude? “I don’t know!” tweets portrayer Jordi Vilasuso. “I’ve heard things, but I haven’t been asked for the Full Monty.”
