Background: Errol is one of the premier voices covering all five daily daytime dramas, including "Beyond the Gates," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "Days of our Lives," "General Hospital" and "The Young and the Restless." He began watching soaps in 1993, around the time Luke and Laura Spencer returned to “General Hospital,” but they weren’t what got him watching regularly. “It was Lucy Coe and her duck Sigmond,” he says of how he got started with soaps.

He received his BA from Baruch College, double-majoring in English Literature and Journalism, and double-minoring in Communications and Psychology. He also holds an AA in Business Administration.

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) and Pop announced today additional presenters for “The 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” including Tom Bergeron, Eileen Davidson, Kevin Frazier, Leeza Gibbons, Vicki Lawrence and Mario Lopez. They will be joined by the “Queens of Drama,” the co-hosts of “The Talk,” the co-hosts of the new lifestyle chat show “The FAB Life,” and several other big stars from “The Bold and the Beautiful,” “Days of our Lives,” “General Hospital” and “The Young and the Restless.”

CBS’s entire daytime lineup posted week-to-week growth in viewers and key women demographics, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week of April 6.

“The 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards” will be telecast live exclusively on Pop on Sunday, April 26. Today, The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) and Pop announced the first round of presenters which includes cast members from “The Bold and the Beautiful,” “Days of our Lives,” “General Hospital,” “The Young and the Restless,” along with personalities Nancy O’Dell, Regis Philbin, Steve Harvey, Marie Osmond, Craig Ferguson, Shemar Moore and Alex Trebek.

Since its grand return in 2013, in celebration of the soap’s 50th anniversary, “General Hospital’s” Nurses Ball has become an annual event for not just the characters taking part but a way for the fans of the series to enjoy their favorite stories with a touch of song and dance. Today ABC announced that the Nurses Ball will take center stage in Port Charles beginning Friday, May 1 and running through Tuesday, May 5.

On “The Bold and the Beautiful,” Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) will stop at nothing to prevent Deacon (Sean Kanan) from marrying Quinn (Rena Sofer), “Days of our Lives” features the return of Eileen Davidson as Kristen Dimera, and “The Young and the Restless” is filled with brutal betrayals and numerous revelations that no one saw coming. As supposed investigators put all the pieces for “The 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards” together on a bulletin board in anticipation of the upcoming telecast, the one question left to answer was “who could possibly be hosting the ‘Daytime Emmy Awards’ with all these celebs?” Enter Tyra Banks (“The FAB Life,” “The Tyra Banks Show,” “America’s Next Top Model”). In a newly released promo for broadcast, Pop hilariously reveals that social media (or in actuality a news release) already answered the question.
