Daytime broadcast saw big gains during the week of June 22-26, 2026, led by significant week-to-week growth by “The Bold and the Beautiful” among Women 18-49 and Women 25-54, and considerable year-over-year increases in both demos among news programming, including “TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle,” “The View,” “NBC News Daily” and “TODAY 3rd Hour” among Women 25-54. Meanwhile, soap operas “Beyond the Gates” and “General Hospital” set new season highs in both key sales demographics, pacing well within the performances of “The Young and the Restless” and “The Bold and the Beautiful” for the first time this season.
The Bold and the Beautiful Ratings
“The Bold and the Beautiful” ranked No. 1 among soaps in Women 18-49 (0.26 rating) for the fourth time in 10 weeks (including ties), and marked its best overall performance in eight weeks, topping perennial leader “The Young and the Restless” by a good margin (0.26 rating vs. 0.23 rating). The half-hour soap was up +0.06 week-to-week (0.26 rating vs. 0.20 rating) and +0.05 year-over-year (0.26 rating vs. 0.21 rating), and was also ahead of its performance during the comparable week in 2024 (0.26 rating vs. 0.23 rating). Meanwhile, among Women 25-54 (0.35 rating), the series was up +0.04 week-to-week (0.35 rating vs. 0.31 rating) and flat with its performance during the comparable week in 2024 (0.35 rating).
With its best performance among Total Viewers in 18 weeks (since the week of February 16-20, 2026), “The Bold and the Beautiful” attracted its third largest audience of the season with 2.961 million viewers tuning in, up an eye-popping +476,000 viewers compared to the same week last year (2.961 million vs. 2.485 million), up +198,000 compared to the same week in 2024 (2.961 million vs. 2.763 million), up +54,000 compared to the same week in 2023 (2.961 million vs. 2.907 million), up +43,000 compared to the same week in 2022 (2.961 million vs. 2.918 million), and up +85,000 from the same week in 2021 (2.961 million vs. 2.876 million). In Households, the show’s 1.9 rating was its best in 14 weeks (since the week of March 16-20, 2026), up +0.1 week-to-week (1.9 rating vs. 1.8 rating) and up +0.3 year-over-year (1.9 rating vs. 1.6 rating).
General Hospital Ratings
“General Hospital” set new season highs among Women 18-49 (0.22 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.28 rating), and was within striking distance of tying or beating “The Young and the Restless” in the former (0.22 rating vs 0.23 rating) with the second largest-week-to-week gain across daytime broadcast, up +0.05 (0.22 rating vs. 0.17 rating), and its best overall performance among Women 18-49 since the week of August 18-22, 2025. Meanwhile, among Women 25-54, the soap was up +0.03 week-to-week (0.28 rating vs. 0.25 rating), marking its best performance in the demo since the week of September 15-19, 2025, and gained +73,000 viewers (1.953 million vs. 1.880 million).
Compared to the same week last year, the action in Port Charles led to a gain of +0.03 among Women 18-49 (0.22 rating vs. 0.19 rating), and a year-over-year increase of +86,000 viewers (1.953 million vs. 1.867 million). In fact, compared to the same week in 2024, the series was up +0.02 among Women 18-49 (0.22 rating vs. 0.20 rating), and was virtually on par with its performance among Total Viewers (1.953 million vs. 1.957 million).
On Hulu, “General Hospital” once again performed well on the streaming service’s Top 15 Today TV chart for the week ending June 27, according to The TV Ratings Guide. The drama ranked No. 1 on Tuesday, June 23; Wednesday, June 24; and Thursday, June 25, with episodes that dropped on the service after airing on ABC, before falling to third place on Friday, June 28, following the release of the fifth and final season of “The Bear,” which topped the chart, with the special “CMA Fest” placing second. On Sunday, June 21 and Monday, June 22, “General Hospital” ranked fifth with episodes from the prior week.
Beyond the Gates Ratings
“Beyond the Gates” marked new season highs among Women 18-49 (0.21 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.31 rating), with its best performance in the former since the week of July 14-18, 2025 (0.21 rating vs. 0.22 rating) and since the week of August 4-8, 2025 in the latter (0.31 rating). The daytime drama series was up +0.02 week-to-week among Women 18-49 (0.21 rating vs. 0.19 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.31 rating vs. 0.29 rating), topping time slot competitor “General Hospital” (0.31 rating vs. 0.28 rating) for the eighth consecutive week (since the week of May 4-8, 2026). Compared to the same week last year, the show was up +0.01 among Women 18-49 (0.21 rating vs. 0.20 rating).
Among Total Viewers, the folks in Fairmont Crest posted a new third-best performance of the season, with 1.788 million viewers tuning in, topping last week’s performance, up +2,000 week-to-week (1.788 million vs. 1.786 million) and an impressive +193,000 year-over-year (1.788 million vs. 1.595 million). Compared to the crossover week featuring characters from Genoa City (“The Young and the Restless”), the soap opera was down a very minor 8,000 viewers from the week of June 8-12, 2026 (1.788 million vs. 1.796 million). In fact, over the four full weeks of June 2026, the series averaged +220,000 more viewers than the same weeks in June 2025 (1.751 million vs. 1.532 million), indicating the drama continues to find an audience the longer it’s been on the air.
“Beyond the Gates” has now seen year-over-year gains for 16 consecutive weeks (since the week of March 9-13, 2026), and continues to outperform former time-slot occupant “The Talk” among Total Viewers, this time up +330,000 over the former talk show’s performance in 2022 and +506,000 over 2021.
Tubi recently signed a licensing deal with Paramount Skydance Corporation, the parent of CBS, bringing all 200 episodes of Season 1 to the service, which has more than 100 million monthly active users.
Note: “The Talk” aired repeats during the comparable week in 2023 due to the ongoing writers’ strike, and in 2024 had already concluded Season 14, airing repeats until it kicked off its 15th and final season in the fall of that year.
NBC News Daily Ratings*
“NBC News Daily” continues to thrive, with the news program seeing the largest year-over-year gain across daytime broadcast, up +511,000 viewers (1.592 million vs. 1.081 million), and marking its third-best performance of the season among Total Viewers, and up +47,000 week-to-week (1.592 million vs. 1.545 million). Meanwhile, despite a considerable week-to-week drop among Women 18-49 (0.14 rating vs. 0.23 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.25 rating vs. 0.29 rating), the program was up +0.03 year-over-year among Women 18-49 (0.14 rating vs. 0.11 rating) and +0.06 among Women 25-54 (0.25 rating vs. 0.19 rating).
The Young and the Restless Ratings
“The Young and the Restless” averaged 3.185 million viewers, marking its 22nd consecutive week above the three-million-viewer mark, a streak that began with the week of January 26-30, 2026, and gaining +115,000 viewers week-to-week (3.185 million vs. 3.070 million) and +97,000 viewers compared to the same week last year (3.185 million vs. 3.088 million). The long-running soap opera marked its best performance in seven weeks (since the week of May 4-8, 2026) among Total Viewers, up +60,000 over the same week in 2024 (3.185 million vs. 3.125 million), +7,000 over 2023 (3.185 million vs. 3.178 million) and up +137,000 over 2022 (3.185 million vs. 3.048 million).
