The big crossover between “Beyond the Gates” and “The Young and the Restless” took place during the week of June 8-12, 2026, and saw both soaps up among Total Viewers, while “NBC News Daily” saw a surge among Women 25-54 and Total Viewers, both week-to-week and year-over-year, with the former the largest across daytime broadcast.
Beyond the Gates Ratings
Attracting its second-largest audience of the season, the big “Beyond the Gates” crossover with “The Young and the Restless” saw the newest player in the daytime drama game up +162,000 viewers week-to-week (1.796 million vs. 1.634 million) and a whopping +248,000 compared to the same week last year (1.796 million vs. 1.548 million), with the soap opera’s largest year-over-year gain to date among Total Viewers. The series tied its season high among Women 18-49 (0.19 rating), up +0.01 week-to-week (0.19 rating vs. 0.18 rating), with its best overall performance in 15 weeks (since the week of February 23-27, 2026), and also tied its second best performance of the season among Women 25-54 (0.29 rating), up +0.02 week-to-week (0.29 rating vs. 0.27 rating). Further, the soap topped time slot competitor “General Hospital” in both Women 18-49 (0.19 rating vs. 0.17 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.29 rating vs. 0.23 rating).

Quantrell Colbert/CBS
Though the figures were rounded up, a CBS press release shared in June noted that “Beyond the Gates” was up +11% from its season-to-date average among Total Viewers, while the episodes featuring characters from “The Young and the Restless,” including Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters), Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), saw the drama series attract its largest ever audience for a Thursday and Friday, with Thursday, June 11 averaging 1.83 million viewers and Friday, June 12 averaging 1.84 million viewers. Meanwhile, the Tuesday, June 9 episode (1.80 million) was the most-watched Tuesday for the series since February 24, 2026, and the Wednesday, June 10 episode (1.87 million) was the most-watched Wednesday for the series since January 28, 2026.
In addition to being up over its own performance one year earlier among Total Viewers, compared to former time-slot occupant “The Talk,” “Beyond the Gates” is also up +609,000 over the former talk show’s performance in 2024, up +343,000 over 2022, up +522,000 over 2021, and up +487,000 over 2020.
BTG Note: This week’s report corrects a previous error published in previous reports, indicating the number of consecutive weeks in which “Beyond the Gates” is up year-over-year among Total Viewers. The corrected number is now at 14 consecutive weeks (began week of March 9-13, 2026). Meanwhile, Total Viewers for “The Talk” in 2023 were unavailable due to the ongoing writers’ strike, which saw the program airing reruns.
The Young and the Restless Ratings
“The Young and the Restless” averaged more than three million viewers for the 20th consecutive week (began week of January 26-30, 2026), up 50,000 week-to-week (3.105 million vs. 3.055 million) and up +259,000 year-over-year (3.105 million vs. 2.846 million). The long-running series tied “The Bold and the Beautiful” for first place among soaps in Women 18-49 (0.23 rating), flat with its week-ago performance. Among Women 25-54, the series was virtually on par week-to-week, down 0.01 (0.39 rating vs. 0.40 rating), and was steady among Households (2.0 rating), up +0.1 compared to the same week last year (2.0 rating vs. 1.9 rating). Compared to the same week in 2024, the long-running soap opera was up +143,000 viewers (3.105 million v s. 2.962 million) and flat among Women 18-49 (0.23 rating).
TODAY Franchise Ratings

NBC News
“TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle” just keeps on growing, seeing significant gains over predecessor “TODAY with Jenna & Friends” compared to the same week last year among Women 18-49 (0.28 rating vs. 0.16 rating), Women 25-54 (0.40 rating vs. 0.29 rating), Households (0.9 rating vs. 0.7 rating) and Total Viewers (1.416 million vs. 1.132 million), proving NBC made a solid choice in pairing Jenna Bush Hager with Sheinelle Jones, following the exit of Hoda Kotb (“TODAY with Hoda & Jenna”). The news program was up +0.02 week-to-week among Women 18-49 (0.28 rating vs. 0.26 rating) and up +0.05 among Women 25-54 (0.40 rating vs. 0.35 rating), ranking fourth in both demographics, just behind lead-in “TODAY 3rd Hour,” which ranked third in Women 18-49 (0.31 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.45 rating). The news program was up by significant margins both week-to-week and year-over-year among Women 18-49 (+0.02 and +0.08, respectively) and Women 25-54 (+0.03 and +0.06, respectively). Meanwhile, among Total Viewers, the program was up +38,000 week-to-week (1.976 million vs. 1.938 million) and +291,000 year-over-year (1.976 million vs. 1.685 million).
The Bold and the Beautiful Ratings
“The Bold and the Beautiful” tied “The Young and the Restless” for first place among soaps in Women 18-49 (0.23 rating), with its best overall performance in the key demo in six weeks (since the week of April 27 – May 1, 2026) and its best performance in four weeks among Women 25-54 (0.34 rating). The half-hour drama was up +0.03 week-to-week among Women 18-49 (0.23 rating vs. 0.20 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.34 rating vs. 0.31 rating), while also marking its best performance in five weeks among Total Viewers (2.738 million), and up +199,000 viewers compared to the same week last year (2.738 million vs. 2.539 million).
General Hospital Ratings
After three consecutive weeks of year-over-year losses, “General Hospital” finally saw gains compared to the same week last year among Total Viewers, up +47,000 (1.991 million vs. 1.944 million) and was also up week-to-week, up +111,000 (1.991 million vs. 1.880 million). In addition to its best performance in five weeks among Total Viewers, the long-running soap opera also attracted its best performance among Households (1.3 rating) since the week of May 4-8, 2026.

ABC
On Hulu, “General Hospital” ranked No. 1 overall on the streaming platform’s Top 15 Today chart for the week ending June 13, with all five fresh episodes topping the list the day after release and two prior week episodes placing fifth on Sunday, June 7 and Monday, June 8, respectively, according to The TV Ratings Guide.
NBC News Daily Ratings / Game Show Ratings
With its best performance in 15 weeks, “NBC News Daily” saw the largest week-to-week gain among Women 25-54 (0.25 rating), up +0.08, and was also up +0.01 year-over-year (0.25 rating vs. 0.24 rating). The news program was also up +0.04 week-to-week and +0.02 year-over-year among Women 18-49 (0.17 rating), while gaining +258,000 viewers week-to-week (1.471 million vs. 1.213 million) and +384,000 viewers year-over-year (1.471 million vs. 1.087 million).
“The Price is Right” and “Let’s Make a Deal” saw the largest year-over-year gains across daytime broadcast, with the second half-hour of the former up +558,000 compared to the same week last year (4.340 million vs. 3.782 million) and the first half-hour up +509,000 (3.815 million vs. 3.306 million). Meanwhile, the second half-hour of “Let’s Make a Deal” was up an astonishing +551,000 viewers (2.648 million vs. 2.097 million), with the first half-hour up +464,000 (2.268 million vs. 1.804 million).
