Right along with the Horton family Christmas celebration, fans of NBC’s “Days of our Lives” can look forward to another tradition continuing. The network has announced that the annual “Day of DAYS” event will return to Universal CityWalk, located next to Universal Studios Hollywood, on Saturday, November 11.

CBS’ “The Talk” announced today nominations for “The 43rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” which is scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 1. On Monday, May 2, the daytime show will host its fifth annual “After Party” with scheduled guests to be announced early Monday morning, May 2.

In honor of ABC’s “The Goldbergs” receiving its first ever TV Guide Magazine cover, the publication has turned back the dial with an all ’80s-themed issue, due out on newsstands later this week. As part of the celebration, several of daytime’s biggest hunks from the decade will be featured in the upcoming issue, including Kin Shriner (as Scotty Baldwin, “General Hospital”), Stephen Nichols (as Steven “Patch” Johnson, “Days of our Lives”), A Martinez (as Cruz Castillo, “Santa Barbara”), Doug Davidson (as Paul Williams, “The Young and the Restless”), Don Diamont (as Brad Carlton, “The Young and the Restless”) and Michael E. As we get closer to daytime’s biggest night, taking place on Sunday, May 1, the industry is abuzz today over which actors were submitted for a pre-nomination for the “The 43rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” presented by The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS). With at least two actors per show for each category (exception being Supporting Actress) several of daytime television’s biggest and brightest stars are looking to vie for the coveted trophy that celebrates their hard work during calendar year 2015.

On a special Sunday, February 14 episode of ABC’s “Castle,” former “One Life to Live” actress Kassie DePaiva (ex-Blair Cramer; Eve Donovan, “Days of our Lives”) will reunite with series star Nathan Fillion, who portrayed the role of Joey Buchanan on the daytime soap in the 1990’s, Soap Opera Network has learned.

It’s almost time to say goodbye to another Salem star. Kassie DePaiva, who has played Eve Larson since June 2014, has revealed that her final “Days of our Lives” air date is Tuesday, February 2.

Although it had been rumored for several weeks, actress Kassie DePaiva has confirmed on her official website that she has indeed been let go from NBC’s “Days of our Lives” after portraying Eve Donovan on the daytime soap for more than a year.

As previously reported, cast members of NBC’s “Days of our Lives” will once again take part in a special “Day of DAYS” fan event scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 8 at Universal CityWalk in Hollywood. This year the celebration takes place on the actual 49th anniversary of the daytime drama series, making it all the more special for fans looking to see their favorite Salemites in person. As always, the event is free and will begin at 10:00 AM with a “Day of DAYS” welcome party with cast introductions, followed by autograph signings, a cast Q&A session, photo booth fun for fans and much more.  The day will culminate with a preview of an upcoming episode of the drama series immediately following the cast Q&A.

Two days after it was revealed that Melissa Archer (ex-Natalie Buchanan, “One Life to Live”) would be joining the cast of NBC’s “Days of our Lives” this fall as an as yet to be named character fans have been wetting their teeth looking to hear more and today they get their answers!
