The tradition continued today as CBS’ “The Talk” unveiled the nominees for “The 46th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” which are scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 5 from the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, CA. With Carrie Ann Inaba, EveSharon OsbourneSheryl Underwood and Sara Gilbert announcing names from several big categories, the award-winning daytime talk show will mark its eighth annual “After Party” with Daytime Emmy Award-winning scheduled guests to be announced early Monday morning, May 6.

Categories announced during “The Talk” included Outstanding Lead Actor and Actress, Supporting Actor and Actress, Younger Actor and Actress, and Outstanding Drama Series. All four remaining daytime dramas were nominated — “The Bold and the Beautiful,” “Days of our Lives,” “General Hospital” and “The Young and the Restless.”
