Cynthia Watros whirled in as “The Young and the Restless’” Kelly two months ago, and she may be dropping out of Genoa City just as quickly!

While the rest of the world enjoys hearts and chocolates and flowers for Valentine’s Day, the characters on “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Young and the Restless” will be getting a huge dose of Lovers’ Day drama!

"The Young and the Restless" actress Cynthia Watros (Kelly Andrews) may soon be pulling television double duty: MTV has ordered a pilot featuring the former "Lost" star to series.

In an exclusive interview with TV Guide's Michael Logan, "The Young and the Restless'" David Tom reveals that he had to audition for the role of Billy Abbott when the series was looking to recast the character when contract talks between current portrayer Billy Miller and Sony Pictures Television proved to be unsuccessful. This was despite the fact that Tom garnered two Daytime Emmy Award nominations in the category of Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series in 2000 and 2001 (he won in 2000) for his portrayal of the character.

CBS' "The Young and the Restless" is gearing up for an actor switch in the coming weeks for the character of Billy Abbott, currently played by Billy Miller.

In a promo that puts emphasis on the word "new," CBS' "The Young and the Restless" is promising viewers a new year filled with new drama, infidelity, secrets, and reunions. In the case of infidelity, Billy (Billy Miller) won't let the search for his daughter's killer stop him from bumping uglies with Kelly (Cynthia Watros), while Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) share a reunion of sorts, and Dylan (Steve Burton) wants more information from momma Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) on her secret past. Also look for Victor (Eric Braeden) and Jack (Peter Bergman) as they toast to an exciting new year!

CBS' "The Young and the Restless" is in a celebratory mood today as the soap is enjoying 25 consecutive years as daytime television's most watched drama series. As part of its continued success, the soap is also enjoying its best season average in total viewers since the 2011-2012 television season. To show their appreciation to fans for their support, cast and crew took the time to pose with a banner that states: "The Young and the Restless: #1 For 25 Years." To honor this feet, Soap Opera Network has gathered all the images published on social media for your one stop viewing pleasure.
