After a long wait, American fans of “Downton Abbey” will finally get the opportunity to bare witness to the Masterpiece PBS series first aired on ITV. In honor of tonight’s season four premiere, here’s a preview clip:

Sunday, January 5 marks the return of guilty pleasure TV with all new episodes of ABC’s “Revenge,” CBS’ “The Good Wife” and the returns of “The Bachelor” and PBS’ “Downton Abbey.” Which to choose to watch? It’s hard to say, but Soap Opera Network is providing you with a lowdown on what to expect on “Revenge.”

TVGN, which yesterday announced plans to air marathon episodes of “The Tomorrow People,” “The Originals” and “Reign” on Saturday afternoons leading up to the return of new episodes to The CW, today announced that it will provide an all-day marathon of CBS’ “Hostages” on Sunday, January 5. The marathon begins at 1:00 PM ET/PT, starting with the series premiere, and will last until 2:00 AM ET/PT on Monday, January 6.

According to TVLine, Luke Grimes is exiting HBO’s “True Blood” after reported creative differences with show producers over the future of his character, James. “He initially joined the show because he wanted to work with [his ‘Forever’ co-star] Deborah Ann Woll,” said an insider to the website. “But when he started reading the scripts for Season 7, he was disappointed to learn that they were going in a completely different direction with James.” Grimes joined the cast of the series in season 6, which found James mostly sexing it up with Woll’s Jessica.
