The OnLine Network (aka TOLN) Reveals New Logo!

Prospect Park’s The OnLine Network (aka TOLN) formally revealed its new re-designed logo. The logo is a step up from the original one Soap Opera Network first revealed back on February 18. Styled in a manner in which viewers will always know that TOLN is online and ready for network quality viewing of its programming, the Prospect Park created network will make its mark when it premieres “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” on Monday, April 29 at 12:00 PM ET on Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes.

On Wednesday, February 27, the casts of “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” gathered together for a photo shoot at the Sleepy Hollow Country Club in Sleepy Hollow, NY. With photography by Chapman Baehler and styling by “Fashion Police” co-host George Kotsiopoulos, both shows premiere Monday, April 29 at 12:00 PM ET on Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes.

Revised ‘OLTL’ Cast List Includes Contracts for Shenaz Treasury and Roger Howarth!

Amongst the news of TOLN setting a premiere date for both “All My Children” and “One Life to Live,” the network also formally announced that Roger Howarth had joined the cast of the online reboot of “OLTL” as his character Todd Manning. Previously, Soap Opera Network had reported the news through official word by representatives for the actor and via “OLTL” co-star Erika Slezak (Victoria Lord Buchanan). Howarth will begin filming at the Stamford, CT studio of the soap on Monday, March 18. He will join the full cast of the soap for four weeks before returning to ABC’s “General Hospital.” It is understood that “OLTL” will complete filming its first batch of episodes (reportedly 40) on Friday, April 12. “AMC” will resume production on Monday, April 15, according to “AMC’s” Debbi Morgan (Angela Hubbard).

Say Goodbye (For Now?) to the Llanview 3 on ‘General Hospital’

Soap Opera Network has learned that during the week of March 18, ABC’s “General Hospital” will be departing the “One Life to Live” characters consisting of Starr Manning (Kristen Alderson), Todd Manning (Roger Howarth) and John McBain (Michael Easton). As previously reported, ABC Daytime and Prospect Park have been in a dispute over the characters and their appearance on “GH” vs “One Life to Live,” which Prospect Park is rebooting for the web along with “All My Children” later this spring. The actors are under contract to ABC, while Prospect Park holds the license rights to the characters.

The Cast of ‘All My Children’ Does The Harlem Shake; First Airdate for Soap to be Announced This Week!

On Tuesday, February 26, just one day after resuming production on “All My Children” after more than a year a half since ending its ABC run, the cast of the soap got together on set to perform “The Harlem Shake” for the TOLN Extras YouTube channel, where fans can get up close and personal with their favorite TOLN stars. Earlier today TOLN released the performance of “Harlem Shake,” while also announcing that soap fans will soon learn THIS WEEK when “AMC” will premiere on Hulu, Hulu Plus, and iTunes. Previously, the network only noted that “AMC” and sister soap “One Life to Live” would premiere this spring.

UPDATE: Is Jake Boyd Ready to Bring ‘Rock of Ages’ to ‘All My Children?’

UPDATE 3/4/13 11:42 AM ET: According to a TOLN representative and the actors team, Boyd’s character is that of a day player or guest star. No further information was provided.

PREVIOUS 3/3/13 8:40 PM ET: According to his Twitter page, “Rock of Ages” understudy Jake Boyd has joined the cast of TOLN’s “All My Children” in the role of Dylan Wilder. Information on the character was unknown at press time.

EXCLUSIVE! ‘One Life to Live’ Production NOT Delayed; New Sets Being Built for Soap

Despite an earlier report stating otherwise, based on information from Robin Strasser’s (Dorian Lord) telephone hotline, a senior level Prospect Park insider tells Soap Opera Network, “production has NOT been pushed back. This has been long planned to make way for a piece of the storyline that involves new sets and use of certain characters and not others.”

Michael Easton: Your Kind Words of Support Mean the World To Me

Michael Easton (John McBain) posted an update for fans wanting to know where he currently stands in the dispute between ABC’s “General Hospital” and TOLN’s “One Life to Live.” In a Facebook message, the actor said, “THANK YOU…your kind words of support mean the world to me. No word yet on when we might return to work but the fridge is stocked, the bills are paid, and I get to spend lots of precious time with my little girl.”

UPDATE: ‘One Life to Live’ Film Schedule Pushed Back; Roger Howarth’s Return Still On As Planned

According to Robin Strasser (Dorian Lord) via her fan hotline (212-414-5300), “One Life to Live” will now begin filming new episodes for Hulu, Hulu Plus and iTunes on Monday, March 18. Previously, the series was scheduled to commence filming on Monday, March 11. The actress brought the news to light despite being unwell at the time. Early this morning Strasser tweeted, “What a difference a week makes when you’re feeling weak (lol) not sick of word play-just saying.”

‘Fashion Police’ Celebrity Stylist Takes on ‘AMC’ and ‘OLTL’ For Photo Shoot; Famed Photographer Chapman Baehler Snaps the Shots

Celebrity stylist and “Fashion Police” co-host George Kotsiopoulos teamed up with the cast of TOLN’s “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” for a photo shoot today, which Soap Opera Network was in attendance for. Kotsiopoulos’ chic styling came to fruition courtesy of photography by famed photographer Chapman Baehler.

The OnLine Network (TOLN) has confirmed the following stars who have joined the cast of “All My Children.”

Daniel Covin Is ‘All My Children’s’ Hunter of Pine Valley High!

Actor Daniel Covin has been cast in the role of Hunter on TOLN’s “All My Children.” News of Covin’s signing came about after the actor tweeted, “Hyped to let you know I just booked the role of Hunter on the all new #AllMyChildren!” The actor added, “I start filming on Thursday!”
