Today, The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) and Pop announced the first round of presenters which includes cast members from “The Bold and the Beautiful,” “Days of our Lives,” “General Hospital,” “The Young and the Restless,” along with personalities Nancy O’Dell, Regis Philbin, Steve Harvey, Marie Osmond, Craig Ferguson, Shemar Moore and Alex Trebek.

As has been done in the past, cast and crew from CBS Daytime’s “The Young and the Restless,” “The Bold and the Beautiful,” “The Talk,” “Let’s Make a Deal” and “The Price is right” are set to live tweet during or after their respective show’s east coast broadcast throughout the week of April 20, leading up to the industry’s biggest night – “The 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” airing Sunday, April 26 on Pop, a sister network of CBS.

Competing this year for the coveted trophy are Scott Clifton as Liam Spencer and Jacob Young as Rick Forrester, respectively, on “The Bold and the Beautiful,” Chad Duell as Michael Corinthos on “General Hospital” and Kristoff St. John as Neil Winters on “The Young and the Restless.”

CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” will air its 7,000th episode on Friday, January 23, and in honor of the happy occasion, the network announced that the episode will break from tradition and instead feature a retrospective documentary that will highlight some of the show’s most iconic moments and a look back at its creation. The episode will also include commentary from the cast, fashion shown throughout its near three decades on air, several unforgettable guest star appearances, original screen test footage and much more.
