With “The Young and the Restless” losing its leading men in a one-two punch, as both Billy Miller (Billy Abbott) and Michael Muhney (Adam Newman) filmed their last scenes on Thursday, December 19, cast and crew of daytime’s most watched drama series have put together video tributes to honor the departing stars.

This past August, “The Young and the Restless” fans saw one of those rare circumstances when behind-the-scenes drama rivals that of the intense drama seen onscreen: actress Christel Khalil (Lily Winters) filed a lawsuit against her talent agency for reportedly being so sloppy and remiss, they sent her on an audition for the very sudser she was already working on!

Beginning Monday, July 15 and lasting through Tuesday, July 23, stars from CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” will be tweeting live with fans during the east coast broadcast of the top-rated daytime drama series.

As previously reported, CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” is moving to TVGN (née TV Guide Network) beginning Monday, July 1, after spending just over 7 years on SOAPnet. The soap will continue airing same-day episodes Monday through Friday at 7:00 PM ET/PT. In the just released new promo, “Y&R” fans will see Kristoff St. John’s Neil Winters and Angell Conwell’s Leslie Michaelson having a heated convo that turns to passion. In addition to the promo, TVGN has also released the full episode of “The Young and the Restless On Set: InFanity,” the special hosted by St. John that provided viewers with a behind the scenes look at the creation of Genoa City, on YouTube.

Fans of “The Young and the Restless’” Redaric Williams (Tyler Michaelson) no doubt view the Michigan native as a hot hunk. But with a business degree from the University of North Texas under his belt as well as the cajones to start his own social media company, he is much more than just a pretty face. As daytime gets ready to roll the dice in Las Vegas on Sunday, June 19 for “The 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” CBS is getting itself ready by hosting CBS Tweet Week with the networks biggest and brightest daytime stars including “The Young and the Restless'” Christian LeBlanc and Christel Khalil and “The Bold and the Beautiful’s” Ronn Moss and Scott Clifton. Also joining in on the fun will be Mike Richards, Executive Producer of “The Price is Right.” Each tweeter will chat live with fans during the East Coast broadcast of their respective shows, the network said.
