Browsing: Christel Khalil

This past August, “The Young and the Restless” fans saw one of those rare circumstances when behind-the-scenes drama rivals that of the intense drama seen onscreen: actress Christel Khalil (Lily Winters) filed a lawsuit against her talent agency for reportedly being so sloppy and remiss, they sent her on an audition for the very sudser she was already working on!

As previously reported, CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” is moving to TVGN (née TV Guide Network) beginning Monday, July 1, after spending just over 7 years on SOAPnet. The soap will continue airing same-day episodes Monday through Friday at 7:00 PM ET/PT. In the just released new promo, “Y&R” fans will see Kristoff St. John’s Neil Winters and Angell Conwell’s Leslie Michaelson having a heated convo that turns to passion. In addition to the promo, TVGN has also released the full episode of “The Young and the Restless On Set: InFanity,” the special hosted by St. John that provided viewers with a behind the scenes look at the creation of Genoa City, on YouTube.

Fans of “The Young and the Restless’” Redaric Williams (Tyler Michaelson) no doubt view the Michigan native as a hot hunk. But with a business degree from the University of North Texas under his belt as well as the cajones to start his own social media company, he is much more than just a pretty face. But even with the killer combination of brains and brawn, he admitted to Soap Opera Network that he was very nervous to become a part of Genoa City!

“The Young and the Restless’” Mishael Morgan has only been onscreen as Genoa City’s Hilary Curtis for a day, and fans are already a bit worried that she might have her sights set on Daniel Goddard’s Cane. But is it true?! Soap Opera Network caught up with the Trinidad native, who spilled on her alter ego’s thoughts about Cane — and much more!

“The Young and the Restless’” Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) have been through so many ups and downs in their relationship, it’s a wonder nobody in Genoa City has installed a rollercoaster in the couple’s honor. With so many twists and turns, it would be one hell of a ride. And Cane’s alter ego, Goddard, recently revealed to Soap Opera Network that their tumultuous connection is about to get a lot wilder!

As surprising as it was to hear that “The Young and the Restless’” Daniel Goddard (Cane Ashby) absolutely loves everything about weddings (which you can read more about here), it was equally surprising when his onscreen partner, Christel Khalil (Lily Winters) admitted that, in opposition to Goddard’s romantic view on the soap staple events, she really can’t stand them! And that’s just one of the things the candid actress revealed when Soap Opera Network recently caught up with her for a revealing chat.

If you think you know everything there is to know about “The Young and the Restless’” sexy star, Daniel Goddard (Cane Ashby), you’d better think again! Soap Opera Network caught up with the actor during the sudser’s 40th Anniversary Celebration, and he let us in on a few secrets — including the fact that he’s a sucker for all things wedding!

“I want to stay,” said Christel Khalil in an interview with MSN TV. “I heard a rumor someone said I was deciding to leave, but it’s not really working that way. There’s something I want that they don’t want to give to me. It hurts. I thought I would be worth what I thought I was worth to them, but I guess I’m not.”

Nelson Branco, best known as the writer of the popular Suds Report column for website TV Guide Canada and his contributions to magazine Hello! Canada is back! This time he’s Uncensored. With Soap Opera: Uncensored fans of Branco will notice the same writing style from his Suds Report, which includes an interview, translated comments on daytime moves, a breakdown of what’s happening on each soap and his uber popular Blind Items.

As daytime gets ready to roll the dice in Las Vegas on Sunday, June 19 for “The 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” CBS is getting itself ready by hosting CBS Tweet Week with the networks biggest and brightest daytime stars including “The Young and the Restless'” Christian LeBlanc and Christel Khalil and “The Bold and the Beautiful’s” Ronn Moss and Scott Clifton. Also joining in on the fun will be Mike Richards, Executive Producer of “The Price is Right.” Each tweeter will chat live with fans during the East Coast broadcast of their respective shows, the network said.
