Emme Rylan, Dominic Zamprogna, General Hospital
"General Hospital's" Dante (Dominic Zambrogna) and Lulu (Emme Rylan) have been in a marital mess for months. It all started when Dante wrongly thought Lulu cheated on him with Dillon (Robert Palmer Watkins), so he retaliated by sleeping with Valerie (Brytni Sarpi) Add Lulu's ex, Johnny (Brandon Barash), to the mix and things got even more complicated.
As previously reported, Brandon Barash is reprising the role of Johnny Zacchara on ABC's "General Hospital" and it looks like he's set to mark his return this week when Johnny comes face to face with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), at least that's how it appears in the promo for this week's worth of episodes. "Wait. What? Johnny's back this week?!" tweeted Barash shortly after the promo was released.

While previously just a rumor, a rep for "General Hospital" confirms to Soap Opera Network that actor Brandon Barash will once again reprise the role of Johnny Zaccara on the daytime drama series. While a first airdate, nor what brings the character back to the canvas, is known at this time, we're sure that any return of the bad boy to the soap will result in some much desired drama for several characters.
Fans have long wondered when "General Hospital's" contract cast would be a receiving a trimming, as it's widely known that the series has quite a large group of actors that make up the Port Charles canvas, but it was anyone's guess whose status would be changed. Soap Opera Network has learned that actors Marc Anthony Samuel (Felix DuBois), Kelly Thiebaud (Britt Westbourne) and John J. York (Mac Scorpio) have all been placed on recurring status. In the case of Thiebaud and Samuel, their status change will be reflected in the on air credits in the coming weeks. York has been listed as a recurring cast member since early October.
Opinions regarding the 41st Annual Daytime Emmy Award show have been mixed, but opinions regarding the four women that the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences hired to host the red carpet pre-show remain the same across the board: The foursome are being criticized as being amateurish and downright offensive.
As previously reported, the annual "General Hospital" Fan Club weekend will take place from Thursday, July 31 through Monday, August 4 at the Sportmen’s Lodge Hotel and Events Center in Studio City, CA. Tickets for the Kick Off Cocktail Party, Main Cast and Blast from the Past – Part II events went on sale last week Monday.
