Labor Day weekend is the perfect time to get away before the summer season officially comes to a close, and several of your favorites from “Days of our Lives” are getting ready to go “Beyond Salem” for some fun in Zurich, Phoenix, New Orleans and Miami.

In a promo highlighting what’s ahead during the week of August 30, 2021 on “DAYS,” we find Ciara (Victoria Konefal) driving Ben’s (Robert Scott Wilson) motorcycle as the duo head out for an adventure as newlyweds while Xander (Paul Telfer) and Gwen (Emily O’Brien) hit the sheets. With their luggage in tow, John (Drake Hogestyn) tells an elated Marlena (Deidre Hall) that their next stop is Zurich, Switzerland, and Chad (Billy Flynn) decides to head off to Phoenix, Arizona. Let’s not forget Anna (Leann Hunley) and Tony (Thaao Penghlis) as the pair suddenly have to pack while Paulina (Jackée Harry), Abe (James Reynolds), Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey) are all excited to have some fun in the sun in Miami, Florida. Meanwhile, staying in Salem, Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) better watch out as Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) is hot on their trail when he learns the two are spending time together in a motel room.

The promo ends with Ciara telling a stunned Ben that she is out of birth control pills soon after they have sex in their tent while enjoying their honeymoon on the road.

Things kick into high gear on the Thursday, September 2 episode of “DAYS,” which sets up spinoff “Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem,” when John gets recruited for a top-secret mission while Anna informs Roman (Josh Taylor) that Carrie’s (Christie Clark) marriage is in trouble. Then, when Paulina’s breakfast plans with Lani, Eli, and Abe go awry they decide to head for Miami instead. Later, Chad has a tense encounter with Gabi (Camila Banus) and Jake (Brandon Barash). On Friday, September 3, Ben and Ciara celebrate their honeymoon.

Whether it’s five stars, two stars, or under the stars, “DAYS” promises excitement all week long.
