Each of the Newman kids each have their own feelings on what has happened. Nick is in utter disbelief that Victor has done the one thing he’s fought so hard to prevent. Abby believes that she’s fully responsible for what has happened and feels guilty. Victoria, on the other hand, believing she was getting Beauty of Nature, feels the most heat when she’s denied not only the company, but also watches the company she’s helped her father with being given away. Meanwhile, Billy sneaks into the press conference and demands to know why Victor came to such a decision. Victor shoots him down with cruel words, sending Billy out in a huff. Nikki and Katherine have a talk on Victor’s decision to make the company public. Kay advises Nikki to go talk to Victor and be there to support him. When Nikki arrives, however, Diane is there with champagne to celebrate Victor’s sticking it to his family. Seeing Nikki there, Diane rubs it in her face that she no longer has the role of supportive wife and tells her to go away. Later during the day, Victoria finds herself in even more trouble when it’s learned of just how far she went to manipulate to get what she wanted. The Newman family aren’t the only ones fixated on Victor’s latest announcement. Tucker attempts to get Kay on his side by teaming up in buying up Newman stock. Kay snaps into him for still focusing on kicking a man when he’s down.

As the two of them are waiting, Koa shows up. Realizing that Koa already knows Adam, it’s Phyllis that has to work her charms on him. She slips out and returns in her little red number. She soon heads Koa’s way and lays on the charm. Meanwhile, as Phyllis and Adam are trying to get what they need from Koa, in Genoa City, Doris comes to see Sharon. Sharon’s happiness to see her mother by her side is ruined when Doris tells her that she’s is disappointed in her and can’t support her anymore. Sharon lashes out, telling her mother that she’s abandoning her when she needs someone the most. Doris shoots back by calling Sharon an unfit mother for picking Adam over her own children. As the court case is about to begin, Sharon is heartbroken that nobody is there to support her. Support comes her way, though in the form of Nick, who comes to stand by her side. He encourages Sharon to be strong and it’s the one thing that Sharon wasn’t expecting: the support of Nick. Back in Thailand, Phyllis manages to switch dice with Koa as well as spike his drink. Koa instantly starts on a winning streak; but his streak goes south when those who are also in the game start to figure out that his dice are loaded. A drugged up Koa stumbles about until he reaches his room. When he wakes up, however, he’s been handcuffed. Adam demands to know what he did with the evidence to clear Sharon’s name. Slezak & Crew Preview Viki's 'Life' Changing Episode

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — On Tuesday, April 26, “One Life to Live” will pay homage to Erika Slezak‘s 40th anniversary with the show with a special episode dedicated to the six-time Daytime Emmy winning actress and her long-suffering alter ego Victoria Lord. However “One Life’s” Head Writer Ron Carlivati asserts “It’s not a tribute to Viki or Slezak, but, rather, an opportunity to let Slezak shine for a full hour. It was a way to show what she can do.  It’s really a tour de force for Erika.” Even so, it is nonetheless an honor for the actress, who nearly passed on the chance to audition for the role back in 1971. For many “One Life” fans, it would be hard to imagine anyone else in the role of the long-running soap’s only remaining original character.

The episode will feature Viki in every scene and focus on some of her most recent trials and tribulations, such as her failing marriage and her daughter’s battle with DID.

In an interview with the Scripps Howard News Service, Slezak recalls her initial shock when she learned how little time she had to prepare after landing the role of Viki.  “When my agent said, ‘You’ve got the part,’ I thought, ‘Oh great! I probably have a week to prepare.’ He told me I started the next day. I panicked.”   Prior to auditioning for “One Life to Live,” Slezak tried out for the role of Nurse Mary Kennicott on “All My Children,” only to be turned down.  In a twist of fate, “AMC” would kill off the character just four years later.

“I had 60 pages to learn every day for a week. I would memorize all day long and then memorize and say my lines out loud on the train ride home that night. I know the other people [on the train] thought I was crazy,” she laments about her first days on the show.

After 40 years on the job, one might suspect that Slezak would be slowing down in her approach. Not so, says “One Life to Live’s” Executive Producer Frank Valenini, who states that “Erika never takes anything lightly.  She is always prepared. There’s a tremendous reality to Viki that the audience can relate to.”

The legacy she has left on “One Life to Live” and the impact she has made on the daytime genre was apparent earlier this month, when the show’s cast and crew celebrated the actress’ important milestone with a surprise party on the set. Included in the celebration was a special video tribute to Slezak from her television peers, which featured Barbara Walters, Regis Philbin, Susan Lucci, and Anthony Geary, among others.  Overwhelmed by the display, Slezak expressed her appreciation to everyone for their kind words and gestures and even joked that “You got Barbara Walters? She doesn’t speak to me when she sees me!”

Jimmy Fallon Cracks About Gays on 'DAYS'

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — On the Friday, March 25 edition of "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," host Jimmy Fallon joked about reports of NBC's "Days of our Lives" going gay in the near future.

"The soap opera 'Days of Our Lives' is introducing a gay story line for the first time in 45 years. It’s about a guy who watches the soap opera 'Days of Our Lives,'" said Fallon in the slightly hilarious bit. He was more hilarious with his joke on Twitter vs. Myspace. "An animal shelter in Illinois has put a dog named Twitter up for adoption. Meanwhile a dog named Myspace was taken to a farm in the country where he can run and play forever."

As we had previously reported, Entertainment Weekly's Lynette Rice recently announced that "DAYS" might be undertaking a gay storyline that would possibly include a current character on canvas paired with someone new. The question remains whether or not the pair in question are male or female.

          B&B Recap: Friday, March 25, 2011

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — "The Bold and the Beautiful" Episode Recap – Friday, March 25, 2011.

          IT HAPPENED TODAY…

Bill was hopeful that he and Katie could work through this. He explained to her that he did everything to protect his son. "My son was laying there in a coma and I knew that even if he woke up, Amber would come after him again." he said. Katie argued that she could have helped him rethink his decision if he had come to her. Bill said that he couldn't tell her. "But you can talk to Steffy?" Katie replied, adding "You've turned to this woman who would like nothing better than to bring me down. To bring us down. You know our history, and you have let her worm her way back into our lives, why Bill?!" She then left the room.

Later, Bill sat alone at home with a drink in his hand. Steffy came by and realized Bill was upset. She wondered why Katie couldn't understand Bill's reasonings for doing what he did and said Katie just doesn't understand him. Bill defended Katie and said he didn't want to hear Steffy say something negative about his wife ever again. Steffy told Bill that they get each other and then asked if there was anything she could do to help him. "You can stop by your dads house on your way home, and if my wife's there, tell her that I'm waiting for her." Bill said. "And if she doesn't show up?" Steffy replied. Bill said he'd wait for her as long as it takes.

As Katie drove away, crying, she got a call from Nick. He could hear her crying from the other side and could tell she was upset. He asked if she was ok and she said she wasn't. He asked if there was anything he could do and Katie said she needed a place to stay. Nick invited her to the Marlin. When she arrived, she made herself at home and said she told Donna to come over. Donna arrived and provided her sister with support. Katie wondered if maybe Bill really was to dangerous for her like her family warned her before they got married. Donna asked what Bill did. Katie told her the story about how Bill bought Amber that house on top of a cliff to try and push her to her death. Donna was shocked and didn't know what to say. Bill called Katie. He tried to get her to come home but she said she wouldn't be. Crying, Katie told Bill that she loved him, but needs time to herself right now.

Amber expressed great thanks to Hope and Oliver for joining her and Liam for dinner. During dinner, Hope lost her appetite when Amber went on and on about her ultrasound. She bolted out of the room and Liam followed behind her. Once outside, Liam hugged Hope. Hope said she couldn't be around Amber anymore. Liam kissed her. He then tried to convince her to leave with him. Disheveled and frustrated, Hope told him that she didn't believe they'd be able to make things work. She pulled away from Liam and ran away to Oliver's car, as Amber watched through her window in satisfaction.

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — "The Bold and the Beautiful" Episode Recap – Thursday, March 24, 2011.

            IT HAPPENED TODAY…

Katie asked Bill if he really tried to kill Amber. Steffy tried to intervene but Katie told her to shut up. Katie wondered if there was more to what happened than what Bill told her and Liam before. Bill said that there was. Katie couldn't believe it. Steffy intervened once again, trying to explain that he didn't try to kill her, but Katie just got frustrated and asked why she was even still here. Bill told Steffy that he wanted to speak to his wife in private. Steffy left the room. Katie asked Bill to tell her the real truth about what happened on the cliff. Bill let Katie know that he was just trying to protect his son. He had every intention of trying to push Amber off the cliff, but he didn't. Katie couldn't understand why he would take such drastic measures and reminded him that if fate hadn't took over, he would've killed his own grandson. Bill once again said that he did it all for his son and family. Katie asked him if he considered her family and thought once about her or their relationship when he was about to push her off the cliff. She was at a loss thinking about how he planned to murder a woman on the property they had just bought. Katie and Bill couldn't come to piece with the matter and Katie wondered how Steffy was involved. Bill explained that Steffy witnessed the whole thing and ended up saving Amber. "That doesn't answer the question 'what was she doing at our house in the first place?'. How often have you been meeting with your little confidant because I'm feeling a little left out." Katie said angrily. Bill told Katie that he loved her and that he was sorry. "I lose control, Katie. I wasn't thinking." he said. "You weren't thinking about me, you weren't thinking about our life together, and you sure as hell weren't thinking about that innocent baby that Amber is carrying, because like it or not, Bill, that kid is your family to." Katie lamented. Bill went on to say that he was just overwhelmed by an "incredibly powerful" paternal instinct to protect his son. "I was consumed by it" he said. Katie said she wanted to know every last detail of what happened that day and most of all why he confided in Steffy. Bill explained to her again that Steffy was there that day and saved Amber. Katie wanted to know why she was even there in the first place but Bill had no clear answer. Katie couldn't understand how Bill could try to justify what he did to Amber just because she's a bad person. She started crying and Bill vowed and hoped that they'd be able to work past it.

With her mothers help, Amber got busy making dinner and setting up things for the dinner party she had planned for later. Oliver called Amber from Forrester and said he and Hope couldn't make it and that they could do it another time. Amber tried to convince him to come by telling him that Hope needed to be at the party tonight so that she could realize the reality of things: Liam belongs with Amber (because she's having "his" child) and she belongs with Oliver. Oliver reluctantly agreed to come to the party just as Hope walked in.

Oliver asked Hope out to dinner. Hope wondered where they were going. Oliver told her they were going to a dinner party at Ambers. Hope thought he was kidding. Oliver pleaded with her to come and to make things run smoothly between the four of them. Hope agreed to attend the party and vowed to make Oliver see that she can handle herself.

Liam arrived at Ambers house. Tawny left. Liam was annoyed with Amber when she told him what she really had planned and told her it wasn't a good idea. Amber said that she just wanted to make things more friendly. Oliver and Hope arrived. Amber poured everyone drinks and they all sat in the living room. Clear tension was felt between Amber and Hope. Liam explained to Hope that he had no idea Amber had this planned and that he had just found out minutes before they arrived. Amber played it off like he was kidding. Amber then brought up picking baby names, which fiercely annoyed Hope.

Thomas showed a patron the new Taboo line. After, Steffy arrived in his office and told him she knew about their fathers memo. "That kiss on the plane back from Paris? You said it wasn't a big deal but obviously it was." she said. Thomas told her she didn't know what she was talking about. Steffy called him out on what he and Brooke did at the press conference and then asked if he was that in love with Brooke or if it was just lust. "Are you that in love with Bill Spencer or is that just lust?" Thomas shot back. Steffy said that Katie is all wrong for Bill and that she has no idea who he really is. "She thinks she understands him but she's deluding herself." she said, also adding "Katie just wants a husband who is straitlaced, plays by the rules, always buttoned up. Well, I'm sorry. That's not Bill Spencer. Never will be. She's in denial.". Steffy went on to say that she admires Bill's dark side and that Katie won't be able to look at her husband the same again after tonight.

              B&B Recap: Wednesday, March 23, 2011

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — "The Bold and the Beautiful" Episode Recap – Wednesday, March 23, 2011.

              IT HAPPENED TODAY…

Taylor told Ridge that Stephanie is right about the whole situation. Ridge said there's nothing he can do except throw up his hands. Taylor coughed out more jabs about Brooke and Thomas defying him and asked Ridge if he's starting to notice the pattern they've got going on. Ridge asked himself how everything got so out of control and said he thought things were under control. Taylor told him that that's just how Thomas and Brooke wanted him to think. "This isn't just about the kiss or the act of defiance, it's bigger than that…it's a behavior pattern. I've watched Brooke do this for as many years as I can think back," said Taylor. Ridge told her that Brooke's concerned she and Stephanie never forget anything. Taylor told Ridge that she doesn't think he's forgotten one thing either and that he's overlooked it long enough. "Right now, it's staring you in the face. And all the wishing in the world won't make it go away." she said. Ridge told Taylor that she warned him of the Taboo line right from the start and that he should've listened. Taylor soaked that in and asked Ridge if Brooke has finally crossed the line with him. "It doesn't matter how much Brooke promises you that she isn't going to do this again–she's not going to end up in another scandal–it will happen. You know Ridge, I don't want to see you get hurt. You have to decide if you have finally had enough." Taylor lamented.

Tawny showed up at Amber's. Amber wondered why she was back. Tawny told her that she had to see her after she got hurt. Amber wasn't interested and tried to get her to leave. Tawny wouldn't budge and said she was here to stay. She encouraged Amber to embrace living the luxury life she's currently got handed to her. Amber said she was waiting for Liam to come by the beach house. After hearing that, dollar signs took over Tawny's eyes as she reamed with excitement. Amber begged Tawny to leave, explaining that Liam told her that he wanted to see her and that it sounded important. Tawny agreed to leave but told Amber to call her the minute Liam left. She told Amber to stick to their plan. "Our plan is working perfectly, in fact so perfectly that we have to step it up a little bit. Hope and Liam split up so now Liam is a single man with needs…" Tawny said. Amber said she's pregnant and there's no way she'd try to do that. Tawny reminded Amber that no one knows that the child she's carrying is Oliver's and that she will be raising it as a Spencer, giving it "the best future" she could possibly give it. Just then, Liam knocked on the door. Amber let him in and asked if he remembered her mother. Tawny flirted with Liam ("My, aren't you a nice, juicy slice of beefcake.") and then Amber hastily kicked her out. After, Liam apologized to Amber about her fall and wanted to make sure the baby was ok. Amber assured him that everything was ok. She noted how lonely she felt these days. Liam then wanted to make sure she had a doctor for the baby and Amber said she did. Liam asked if there was anything he could do for her, mentioning how she said she felt lonely. Amber got excited and said that if he really meant it, she wouldn't mind more of his company around the house. Liam said that he could stop by every now and then. Amber tried to persuade him to move in with her since they are having a child together and all. Liam just wasn't sure. Amber told him that he could have some time to think about it. She told him to go back to work and think about it, and then come back to her house later for dinner. Liam agreed with the plan and left. After, Tawny came back in threw the back porch and Amber told her that she was throwing a dinner party for her and Liam…and Hope and Oliver. "And I'll go on and on about the baby. And before dessert, Hope will realize she doesn't have a future with Liam and Liam will realize he has to move on with me." she declared.

Bill and Katie shared a hot kiss in his office. After, Katie told Bill she had to go to a meeting to discuss remodeling their new house. She expressed how much she's longed for a house along the beach and she wanted to make the most of it. She reminisced about Storm taking her to Point Dume when she was little and said maybe someday they could do the same for their children. She then went on to say that Amber's going to have to find some other place to live soon.

Later, Steffy visited Bill in his office after getting a call that he wanted to see her. She flirted with him the minute she entered and also teased him a little bit about wanting to kill Amber. Bill told Steffy that he called her over because he had a question for her, and one he couldn't ask his wife. "What's going on with your brother and Brooke?" he asked. Steffy said it was just business. Bill thought otherwise and then showed her the Taboo cancellation memo that Jarrett gave him earlier. Steffy was surprised to see it and said she had no idea this had happened. She said she was under the impression that the line was being expanded. "Now, I wonder what would happen to make your father father kill one of the most successful lines in the history of Forrester creations?" said Bill. He insinuated that Thomas and Brooke have been getting "freaky" and that's why Ridge cancelled the line. Steffy said nothing of that sort happened and she refused to believe that the line was really cancelled. Bill suggested that Ridge cancelled the line but Thomas and Brooke ignored him. Steffy said that they wouldn't do that. Bill asked if he could quote her on that. Steffy said there's no way he's running with this. "Not yet. But something tells me there is a story behind that memo." he said. Steffy changed the subject and talked about their attraction to each other. She said she went half way around the world to try and get away from him. Just then, Katie arrived at the door and listened in as Steffy told Bill that no one has excited her the way he does and that no one understands him the way she does. Bill said she doesn't know as much as she thinks. Steffy said that she knew his secret, subtlety bringing up what he did to Amber, asking him if he would have killed Amber if he had the chance. This caused Bill to flashback to what he did and voice that he had to do something. "She was on the edge of that cliff. I wanted her dead." he said. Just then, Katie finally walked in. "You wanted her dead. You were gonna kill Amber."

                B&B Recap: Tuesday, March 22, 2011

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — "The Bold and the Beautiful" Episode Recap – Tuesday, March 22, 2011.

                IT HAPPENED TODAY…

Thomas came back to Ridge's office after he left. Brooke told Thomas she thinks it's a good thing that Ridge will be alone on his trip. Hope and Oliver showed up and said they were looking all over for them and that they had been waiting in the studio. "Thomas wanted photos to send with the release about a womens line for Taboo" said Hope. Brooke, who had no idea about the plans, told them that they could do the shoot in the office. Hope and Oliver left to get the equipment. Thomas asked Brooke if she was ok about all of this. "We told the press Taboo was on, that's how it stands," said Brooke.

Ridge was on his plane alone when Taylor came in, surprised to see him, explaining that she thought it was Thomas who was boarding the jet after the pilot called her. "I just had these visions of Thomas hijacking the plane or something," she said. Ridge said he wouldn't be surprised if that happened next. Taylor asked how things went with Thomas and if he fired him. Ridge said no. Taylor wondered if Thomas understood that the Taboo line was over. Ridge told her that he was just going to leave things as they were left (with Brooke and Thomas announcing they were going to move forward with the line). "Why would you let them defy you like this?" Taylor exclaimed. Ridge asked Taylor if she agreed with Thomas in thinking that cutting the line was abuse of power. Taylor disagreed and said that if he hadn't cancelled the line it would have been "tantamount to child abuse". Ridge got a call from the pilot that they were set to take off. Taylor said she wasn't finished talking with him yet and that she would stay with him for the ride to Paris. "Besides, I don't think you should be alone right now." she said. During flight, Taylor walked around the plane imagining how the scene of Thomas and Brooke kissing had played out. She then went on to remind Ridge of how he said that he would leave Brooke if she crossed the line with Thomas. "I said i'd walk out that door and straight back to you. I guess that was imagining that they would be having an affair, not an alliance against me. And, of course, you are married." Ridge replied. Taylor told Ridge that she had to be honest with him, going on to revealing to him that it was Whip who took the incriminating photos of Thomas and Brooke. Ridge was disgusted and asked Taylor if she really loved him. Taylor said that he's a great husband, adding that this wasn't her ideal dream life, but who has one anyway?

Stephanie complimented Eric on one of his new designs and said he hadn't lost his touch. Eric said that the latest press conference got his creative juices flowing and that he wants to do something for the womens Taboo line. Stephanie asked Eric if he knew that Ridge had canceled the Taboo line. Eric had no idea. "Since when?" he asked. "Since Ridge found out Tom kissed Brooke.". Eric said everyone knew about that already. Stephanie told him this wasn't the public kiss on the runway, but the one the two shared on a plane together on the way back from Paris. She explained how Thomas did it while Brooke was asleep. Eric wondered what the harm of it was if Brooke was asleep. Stephanie said it was a catastrophe and that Brooke wasn't some stuffed animal. "You just can't accept the fact that an older women like Brooke would hold an allure over a young man. When I was 16 it was all I could think about!" Eric lamented. Stephanie told Eric that this wasn't about him, it was about Thomas. "It's his fathers wife!" she said. Eric asked what happened after the kiss. "She woke up." said Stephanie. "Just like a fairy tale." Eric said jokingly. Stephanie said that she was appalled by this whole situation and that he should be to. Eric completely disagreed and said she was overreacting. "I see that you are once again dredging up the old "Brooke is the bane of all peoples existence" platform. I'm disappointed." said Eric. Steph said she was disappointed to and that she thought Brooke had finally changed. Eric suddenly agreed with her that this was serious, and said they should go and talk to Brooke and Thomas.

Brooke and Thomas were having fun doing the photo shoot with Hope and Oliver. Stephanie and Eric walked in and wondered what was going on. "Isn't it obvious?" said Thomas. Hope said they were almost done and that they could take a break if they needed to talk to Brooke and Thomas. Steph said she did so Hope and Oliver left for a lunch break. Stephanie told Thomas that his Grandfather had something to say to him. Thomas explained his side of the story quickly to Eric. Much to Stephanie's shock, Eric told Thomas that he agreed with him completely and that he would tell Ridge that the next he saw him. "So, what did you want to say to us, Eric?" said Brooke. Eric explained that he had some designs he wanted to show Thomas for the Taboo womens line. Thomas said he would be glad to look at them, and then two left the room, leaving Brooke and Stephanie alone. Stephanie once again expressed her disappointment in Brooke, saying that she gave Brooke her total friendship and trust and that all she did was throw it back at her. Brooke said this wasn't about them, it's about Thomas. "I am not going to let your paranoia ruin this for him," said Brooke, mentioning how she raised raised Thomas and loved him and felt he deserved to come out of his fathers shadow.

Later, Brooke joined Thomas and Eric and admired Eric's designs. Thomas worried what Ridge would think when his dad got back. Eric said they would worry about that when that bridge comes along.

Stephanie skyped Ridge on his plane and told him about Thomas and Brooke's photo shoot and the fact that they were still going along with the line he canceled. Ridge said there was nothing he could do while thousands of feet in the air. Stephanie reminded him of how he said he wouldn't tolerate another scandal like this and encouraged him to find Taylor and "grab hold of her and don't ever let go." because she's the only women whose ever brought sanity to his life. Taylor looked on from in front of him with a cheeky smile on her face.

                  B&B Recap: Monday, March 21, 2011

                  B&B Recap: Monday, March 21, 2011

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — "The Bold and the Beautiful" Episode Recap – Monday, March 21, 2011.

                  IT HAPPENED TODAY…

After their kiss, Dayzee warned Thomas not to go to war with his father. Thomas asked why she thinks he should back off. Dayzee told him that Ridge is his father and he knows he doesn't want to lose him. Thomas said he doesn't know how he'll be able to work things out with his dad since it's pretty clear he's ready to fire him. "What if he does? What does that change? You're still his son. That's the relationship you've got to honor." said Dayzee. Thomas said that's not enough and that he's tired of apologizing. "Yes, I did something wrong but nobody got hurt and nobody suffered any lasting damage here." he said. Dayzee told him that was his opinion and that he doesn't get to decide when he's done apologizing, it's the people he hurts who get to decide when they're tired of hearing it.

Liam and Bill discussed business in Bill's office. Liam stumbled on a desk and Bill tried to get him to go back home and get more rest. Jarrett arrived and Liam asked him if he had any news about the Taboo press conference. Jarrett showed them the copy of the Forrester memo he found earlier. "I don't think Taboo is supposed to exist, and I don't think were supposed to know." he said. Bill looked at the memo and wondered if the news of Taboo's cancellation was out already. Jarrett told him that it was business as usual with Thomas and Brooke. Bill realized something must have finally pushed Ridge's buttons and wondered what it could have been. Bill asked Jarrett how he found the memo. Jarrett told him he found it on the floor. Liam wondered why they would still hold a press conference if the line was cancelled anyway. Jarrett suggested that maybe Ridge changed his mind. "Twice in one day? I don't think Ridge is capable of that much mental exercise. Changing his clothes twice? Maybe." said Bill. Liam then suggested if maybe Thomas knew what Ridge was up to and headed him off at the pass. Bill thought that could be plausible and then asked Jarrett if Ridge was at the conference. Jarrett told him he was. Bill asked him how he looked. "Especially stone-faced" replied Jarrett. Bill said he was appalled and wondered if Thomas would pull such a dastardly act on his own father. Bill thought that this would make a nice cover story. Liam tried to combat that by saying that they can't do this because they don't know if there even is a story. "Do you know how much I hate the word "can't"?" said Bill. He then went on to say that this was the perfect storm for a tabloid scandal and that it was what they live for, also adding that Ridge used the tabloids to exploit Taboo. "Well, it's a double-edged sword. Welcome to the other side of the blade." he said. Liam pleaded with Bill once again not to release the story, mentioning Hope ("The girl I love") and how printing something racy involving her mother could hurt her. Bill budged and said he would hold the story for a few days to see what develops.

Ridge told Brooke that both she and Thomas work for him. Brooke continued to be against his plans to cancel Taboo and told Ridge she was worried about his and Thomas' relationship and didn't want it to fizzle all because of this. Thomas entered the room. Ridge told him it wasn't acceptable to know know that beneath all the risque shots he made, that he had an agenda involving his wife. Thomas said that no one else knew what his dreams were except for Brooke, saying that she was the only one who ever believed in him. He also added once again that he didn't know why he kissed her, but that it was no big deal. Ridge let Thomas know that all was not forgiven. Thomas left. Ridge got a business phone call that commanded him to go to Paris. Brooke suggested she come with him. Ridge said it wouldn't be a good idea for them to both be gone at the same time. Brooke told Ridge that he doesn't need to have any concerns about her and Thomas working together. "I keep trying to believe that." said Ridge. "You don't really think that I would be unfaithful with you're son?" replied Brooke. Ridge reminded her of how she stood in front of a room full of reporters and allowed Thomas to defy him. Brooke told Ridge there was no other man in this world she finds more attractive than him. "What about respect?" said Ridge. "I heard you, and I know you feel betrayed by me. But that pain is nothing compared to what you would feel if you lose the love and respect of your son. I just couldn't let that happen." said Brooke. She told Ridge to spend as much time in Paris as he needed and that this wasn't the end of anything. "And you will forgive me. Heck, you might even thank me. Taboo is no threat to you and Thomas is no threat to you and me. The only threat would be to lose your son and I love you to much to see that happen. I hope you'll understand." Brooke said persuasively. Ridge then left as Brooke's eyes filled with tears.

'One Life to Live' Cast Members Share Their Love and Support For Robert S. Woods

(SoapOperaNetwork.com) — Robert S. Woods joined the cast of "One Life to Live" in 1979 as Bo Buchanan. While his current role as Llanview's police commisioner brings him the honor of serving his community by protecting them with his life each and every day, it is Woods' real life work as a humanitarian that makes life most fulfilling. On Thursday, March 24, HeartShare Human Services of New York presented its 2011 Spring Gala and Auction at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. The event, which honors those individuals that have made a difference in the New York area with their commitment to excellence, service and leadership with today's youth, in particular foster children and families in need of special support services. Woods was among the honorees as he was presented with the Linda Dano Heart Award by none other than friend and former co-star Linda Dano (ex-Rae Cummings). Woods was joined by close friends and family along with his extended "One Life" family and others from ABC on his special night. Soap Opera Network spoke with Woods and some of his fellow cast members on what the award meant to him and what Bob means to them.

"Thank you for making 18 years of 'One Life to Live' so much fun," said Hillary B. Smith, who portrays Woods' onscreen wife, Nora Buchanan, on the ABC soap. "I am thrilled that you are being honored [tonight] by such a wonderful, charitable organization. As my husband calls it, 'the real deal.'" As the two have worked together for nearly two decades, one can only imagine what crazy antics they've gotten themselves involved in. Would Smith care to share any funny stories or experiences? "No, because they were usually at my expense," the actress said laughing. "He's a big prankster and he pulls tricks, always on me – other people too, but the one's that always work the best were one's done on me. You can ask him about those [funny] stories."

"Bobby is an amazing guy. I'm very fortunate to have him play my uncle [on the show]," said Melissa Archer, who portrays Natalie Buchanan. "He's a very caring, very giving person. I'm proud of him."

"I've known him practically my entire life. He's been like a second father to me," said Eddie Alderson, who portrays Matthew Buchanan, Bo's son with Nora, and is the real-life brother of Kristen Alderson (Starr Manning). "I love him so much. No one else deserves this honor more than him. He's such a nice and kind human being."

"He is one of Billy's [Warlock] dearest and closest friends," said actress Julie Pinson, who won an Emmy Award for her portrayal of Janet Ciccone on CBS' "As The World Turns" last year and is married to Warlock. "Bob and his wife [Loyita Chapel] have been fabulous to Billy and I since we've been in New York. They've basically taken us under their wing. We go out to dinners, we go to their house in the country, and they just roll out the red carpet for us. We love them. Bob has the biggest heart of anyone I know."

"Bob has really put his share in as far as contributing to the country. He was a Green Beret and his whole life has been dedicated to helping his country and helping out people. He's just a huge giver and I've had the privilege of becoming friends with him and Loyita over the last few years and they are truly heroes in my eyes," said co-star Farah Fath, who plays Gigi Morasco. "The wisdom they have shared with me I will forever treasure. I think he is a lovely, lovely man; they are a lovely couple. They are such good people that I could only dream of growing up to be like them one day. I mean I love them with all my heart and I think Bob completely deserves this honor tonight. He's an impeccable man."

"I've been doing this now for 10 years," said Linda Dano, who presented Woods with his award. "I've had the great honor from HeartShare to give to people the Linda Dano Heart Award. Tonight is extemely special, because Bobby and I are old, old friends. Friends together, friends with Frank [Attardi, Dano's late husband], and I love him so. I was so thrilled when he accepted the award and I know he is a wreck tonight [laughs], but that's ok. That's ok."

What about the man of the night. What are his thoughts on receiving the award? "I don't feel like I've done enough," said Woods shortly after festivities got underway. "I gauge it by Linda Dano and everything she's done for HeartShare. It's her award and she selected me to receive it. Linda and Frank really took this as their own and it means the world to her. It means a lot to my wife [Loyita] and I." Asked if he's a little nervous getting on stage to make a speech in front of everyone in attendance, Woods simply said "Oh, I'm excited." And what does he plan on saying? "I don't have anything written out. I'll just get up and say something straight from the heart and try and keep it brief. I want to wrap it up and get them over to the silent auction because they have some of the most amazing silent auction items. Everything that this organization makes, 90 cents on the dollar, goes right into the program. There are some very committed and dedicated people here. It makes me feel like I should be a kinder, gentler person." According to Woods, seeing an organization like HeartShare helping out our young people the way they do "is humbling because we are all lucky to be actors, to have jobs and work as much as we do, but when you meet these little kids you realize how blessed you are and how blessed they are too to have something like HeartShare. To have a school where kids have a chance to just blossom and become social. It's really moving."

Joining Hillary, Melissa, Eddie and Julie in attendance were co-stars Kristen Alderson (Starr Manning), David Fumero (Cristian Vega), John-Paul Lavoisier (Rex Balsom), Mark Lawson (Brody Lovett), Florencia Lozano (Tea Delgado), Sean Ringgold (Shaun Evans), Gina Tognoni (Kelly Cramer), Billy Warlock (ex-Ross Rayburn) and Bree Williamson (Jessica Brennan). "One Life" Executive Producer Frank Valentini was joined by Senior Producer Suzanne Flynn and Producer John Tomino. Former "All My Children" and "One Life to Live" star Thorsten Kaye was in attendance alongside real-life wife Susan Haskell (Marty Saybrooke). Also there was Stephen Schnetzer (ex-Cass Winthrop) from "Another World" and Tamara Tunie from "As The World Turns" and "Law & Order: SVU" fame. Tunie won the award at last years festivities. In honor of Woods, ABC Daytime reserved a number of tables for their actors and friends of the Woods family.
