Hot on the heels of the news that Hallmark’s “Signed, Sealed and Delivered” will be moving to the network’s Movies and Mysteries channel comes word that former “The Bold and the Beautiful” actor Brandon Beemer (ex-Owen Knight; ex-Shawn Brady, “Days of our Lives”) will be appearing in a Hallmark Movies and Mysteries film!

Just two weeks after the dramatic season finale of “Dallas,” which found one of its lead characters killed after the car they were in exploded, TNT has opted to cancel the series after just three seasons, the network announced today.

Maurice Benard

As previously reported, “General Hospital’s” Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) will be featured in the Sunday, October 5 telecast of “Oprah: Where Are They Now?” which tracks past guests from “The Oprah Winfrey Show” to see what they’ve been up to since last appearing on the talk show. In the case of Benard, it was in 2004 when the soap star and his wife, Paula, opened up to Oprah Winfrey about the private hell they’ve lived for years with the revelation that the soap star was living with bipolar disorder, which, at its worst, made him violent and suicidal. Nearly 10 years since the episode aired, “Where Are They Now?” followed the actor backstage on the set of “GH,” while viewers are introduced to his loving family, which includes daughters Cailey, Heather and Cassidy, and his very own “Mini-Me,” son Joshua.

Former soap star Eden Riegel (ex-Heather Stevens, “The Young and the Restless;” ex-Bianca Montgomery, “All My Children”) may have bowed out from the daytime world for the time being, but she’s still hard at work in front of the camera, this time on CBS’ primetime hit, “Criminal Minds.” And Soap Opera Network is bringing you the first sneak peek at the actress’ stint on the show, which also stars “Y&R’s” Shemar Moore (ex-Malcolm Winters)!

“General Hospital” star Maurice Benard has battled a slew of violent nemeses as his daytime alter ego, Sonny Corinthos, but perhaps his toughest battle of all has been his real-life struggle with bi-polar disorder. And now, in a special interview for “Oprah: Where Are They Now?” the actor is delving deep into details regarding his condition and how it’s impacted his life and career.

As we previously reported, “General Hospital” star William DeVry (Julian Jerome) landed a guest-starring two-episode role on Hallmark’s drama series, “Cedar Cove.” The actor made his debut as the boss of Warren Saget (Brennon Elliott) on September 27, and this Saturday, October 4, not only marks the actor’s conclusion in the pivotal role, but also the series’ Season Two finale episode!
