News of Jenni “JWOWW” Farley heading to TOLN’s “One Life to Live” had been brewing all day today as fans of the soap began noticing interesting messages posted on Twitter including one from “JWOWW” herself when she tweeted, “Heading out to the set of one hot new show! Can you guess where I’ll be making an appearance this week?” The tweet was accompanied by an image that showed her in the “OLTL” hair and makeup room getting prepared for her scenes.

Background: Errol is one of the premier voices covering all five daily daytime dramas, including "Beyond the Gates," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "Days of our Lives," "General Hospital" and "The Young and the Restless." He began watching soaps in 1993, around the time Luke and Laura Spencer returned to “General Hospital,” but they weren’t what got him watching regularly. “It was Lucy Coe and her duck Sigmond,” he says of how he got started with soaps.
He received his BA from Baruch College, double-majoring in English Literature and Journalism, and double-minoring in Communications and Psychology. He also holds an AA in Business Administration.
Fans have long wondered how they could watch their favorite returning serial dramas “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” since it was revealed in late January that both series would be available for viewing online via Hulu.com, Hulu Plus and iTunes. The OnLine Network released today banner images that summarizes how things will work, but will it be enough to help viewers tune in? We’ll soon find out as “AMC” and “OLTL” premiere Monday, April 29 via the aforementioned video platforms.
Per a press released issued just a short time ago, CBS’ daytime lineup consisting of “The Young and the Restless,” “The Bold and the Beautiful,” “Let’s Make a Deal,” and “The Talk” have posted week-to-week rating growth post Pope interruptions. Ratings for the shows are for the week ending Sunday, March 24.
May sweeps are a month away, but it looks like the upcoming onscreen drama won’t be able to hold a candle to the real-life drama brewing between Prospect Park’s “One Life to Live” and ABC’s “General Hospital.”
As members of our SON Community Message Boards duly noted in their monthly “Y&R” discussion thread, Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren Fenmore) looked like she was on the verge of signing a contract with CBS’ “The Young and the Restless.” Bregman made it official when she tweeted a picture of herself signing on the dotted line. “It’s official! Signing my new contract with @Official_YandR on the shows 40th anniversary. #grateful #YR40,” her tweet read.
As first reported by Soap Opera Network on our Twitter page on Tuesday, March 19, “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of ABC’s “General Hospital” on Monday, April 1 and Tuesday, April 2. “GH” stars Finola Hughes (Anna Devanne) and Jason Thompson (Dr. Patrick Drake) served as contestants on the special episodes and will donate their winnings to The Art of Elysium (http://www.theartofelysium.org), a non-profit organization that works closely with actors, artists and musicians, encouraging them to volunteer their time and talent to children battling serious medical conditions.
In a message posted on her Facebook page, Lindsey Morgan has announced her departure from ABC’s “General Hospital.” The actress joined the cast of the series last April as the daughter of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), although she didn’t begin airing as Kristina Davis until the week of May 21, 2012.
TNA Impact Wrestling Superstars Jessie Godderz (“Big Brother”) and Lisa Marie Varon have joined the ever growing cast of the NYC Brand Productions online series “Tainted Dreams,” created by “All My Children” Supervising Producer Sonia Blangiardo. Godderz, whose wrestling stage name is Mr. PEC-Tacular, is probably best known for his time on CBS’ “Big Brother.” Varon appears in TNA programming with the stage name Tara (aka Tarantula).
Soap Opera Network has learned that television newcomer Caitlainne Rose Gurreri has landed the heavily recurring role of Eileen on TOLN’s “All My Children.” The actress is understood to be featured alongside Sal Stowers (Cassandra Foster) in a ripped from the headlines like storyline that sources say finds the characters of Jesse Hubbard (Darnell Williams) and Zach Slater (Thorsten Kaye) working together to bring down Vlad and Yuri, who are involved in a sex trafficking ring.
On Monday, March 18, Soap Opera Network was the first to report that Hulu had released a new premiere trailer for TOLN’s “All My Children” and “One Life to Live.” We’ve now since learned that Prospect Park hired Catalano Productions (@TorreCatalano) to produce the pre-launch material with Mad Machine Films (@MadMachineFilms on Twitter) signed on as the masterminds behind the editing of the “Living in America” themed video.
