Background: Errol is one of the premier voices covering all five daily daytime dramas, including "Beyond the Gates," "The Bold and the Beautiful," "Days of our Lives," "General Hospital" and "The Young and the Restless." He began watching soaps in 1993, around the time Luke and Laura Spencer returned to “General Hospital,” but they weren’t what got him watching regularly. “It was Lucy Coe and her duck Sigmond,” he says of how he got started with soaps.
He received his BA from Baruch College, double-majoring in English Literature and Journalism, and double-minoring in Communications and Psychology. He also holds an AA in Business Administration.
As previously reported, Daniel Cosgrove is joining the cast of NBC’s “Days of our Lives” in the role of Aiden, but what you may not have known is that the actor is playing Salem’s newest attorney. The actor is scheduled to first air on Wednesday, January 22 as Aiden gets more than he hoped for when he butts heads with Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) over their children.
On the Tuesday, January 14 episode of FX’s “Justified,” entitled “The Kids Aren’t All Right,” you may find a familiar face gracing the screen.
In a near 2,600 word posting on his Facebook page, “The Young and the Restless'” Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters) further commented on the situation occurring behind the scenes at the daytime drama series following the breast groping scandal that has rocked the show and the industry.
Soap Opera Network has learned that actor Robert Craighead is returning to CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” next month as Judge Wayne in scenes with Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin), Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren Fenmore), Lauralee Bell (Christine ) and Max Ehrich (Fenmore Baldwin).
“All My Children” may no longer be in production as a result of the series being cancelled twice (thrice if you count the failed 2011 reboot), but some of its former soap stars have kept themselves in the news of late when it comes to their personal relationship status.
Soap fans may remember Victor Alfieri for his stints on CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” and NBC’s “Days of our Lives,” but these days the former soap star is battling attacks with a hairbrush, reports TMZ.
CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” is gearing up for an actor switch in the coming weeks for the character of Billy Abbott, currently played by Billy Miller.
One week ago today, TMZ reported that Michael Muhney was fired from CBS’ “The Young and the Restless” last month following allegations that he groped the breasts of one of his co-stars. Since then, several actors from the daytime drama series have spoken out on social media in support of Hunter King (Summer Newman), the alleged victim of the groping. Two actors from the series (Eric Braeden and Jerry Douglas) recently conducted interviews discussing Muhney’s behavior on set and indirectly commented on the behind the scenes turmoil since the story hit mainstream media. Earlier this morning, following a tweet to King by a fan that read, “if ur being manipulated into this u need to be strong & tell the truth. Ur young & talented. There will be life after #YR,” Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters) took issue with the tweet and responded with, “You have been deceived, lied to. Those of us in the know, are in the KNOW. #TruthWillSetYouFree.” But that’s not where the tweets ended.
Just as CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Young and the Restless” are enjoying some of their highest ratings in several years, NBC’s “Days of our Lives” is also enjoying its best rating in Women 18-49 in two years and its best overall audience in nearly three years, per Nielsen Media Research ratings data.
