“General Hospital” star William deVry (Julian Jerome), who has been in negotiations for several weeks with ABC over a new contract, may have filmed his final scenes at the daytime drama series, barring any last-minute change, reports Soap Opera Digest.
Nearly four years since launching a Kickstarter campaign to fund a pilot episode of “The Rich and the Ruthless,” loosely based on her novels “Secrets of a Soap Opera Diva” and “The Young and the Ruthless,” actress Victoria Rowell (ex-Drucilla Winters, “The Young and the Restless”) will finally see her vision come to life as a six-part scripted comedy series courtesy of Urban Movie Channel, an urban-focused subscription streaming service created by Black Entertainment Television founder Robert L. Johnson.
Before news of Steve Burton‘s return to “General Hospital” became official, rumors began to swirl that Jason Thompson might soon be leaving “The Young and the Restless” and his role as Billy Abbott, and possibly be heading back to Port Charles as Dr. Patrick Drake. But not so fast!

Wain has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Daytime Programs, and Paolantonio and Seidman have been promoted to Vice Presidents, Daytime Programs.
