One Life to Live

TNA Impact Wrestling Superstars Jessie Godderz ("Big Brother") and Lisa Marie Varon have joined the ever growing cast of the NYC Brand Productions online series "Tainted Dreams," created by "All My Children" Supervising Producer Sonia Blangiardo. Godderz, whose wrestling stage name is Mr. PEC-Tacular, is probably best known for his time on CBS' "Big Brother." Varon appears in TNA programming with the stage name Tara (aka Tarantula).
"One Life to Live's" longest serving cast member Erika Slezak (Viki) has released a new statement on her official website saying that Prospect Park is "working very hard to get everything right" for the online version of the long-running soap and says that cast and crew are "hoping for our former audience to return and continue to enjoy and for our new audience to get to know us."
The Llanview teen scene heats up as Australia's hottest DJs, sisters Mim and Liv Nervo stop by Llanview to spin some records at the fictional town's trendiest new nightclub and hang out with several of "One Life to Live's" younger cast members.
Ok, all you Roger Howarth (Todd Manning) fans: There may be a lot of brouhaha surrounding the beloved soap star’s status with “General Hospital” at the moment, but you can breath a sigh of relief when it comes to “One Life to Live”: He’s definitely making an appearance in Llanview, and here are the new photos to prove it!
As the old saying goes, a happy employee is a productive employee. And that must be a mantra Prospect Park believes in. According to the actors who have signed on to the serial dramas, “All My Children” and “One Life to Live,” the production company — headed by Jeff Kwatinetz and Richard Frank — has batted a thousand when it comes to being respectfully in charge. And the end result, as the performers preview, is pure magic.
On Monday, March 18, Soap Opera Network was the first to report that Hulu had released a new premiere trailer for TOLN's "All My Children" and "One Life to Live." We've now since learned that Prospect Park hired Catalano Productions (@TorreCatalano) to produce the pre-launch material with Mad Machine Films (@MadMachineFilms on Twitter) signed on as the masterminds behind the editing of the "Living in America" themed video.
On Wednesday, March 20, Alex Kruglov, Head of Content Acquisition, Hulu, visited the set of the internet hub's recent acquisition of TOLN's "One Life to Live." In a posting on Twitter, Kruglov said, "Holy cow everything looks impressive. Excited to launch it and #AMC on 4/29." The tweet was accompanied by a behind the scenes photo that shows actress Florencia Lozano in a scene as Tea Delgado in a beautiful new set presumed to be her characters newly re-designed digs. It was previously feared by many fans that both "OLTL" and "All My Children" would go the route of Peapack, NJ as "Guiding Light" did in its latter years in order to save on production costs.

When the official "One Life to Live" cast photo shoot was unveiled last month Robin Strasser was one of two contract cast members (Hillary B. Smith being the other) not in attendance at the Sleepy Hollow Country Club with the rest of her c0-stars. However, it was pneumonia and not a snub from her new bosses that kept "One Life's" grand dame from getting her close-up.
A soap is a soap is a soap. Or is it? That’s the question the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences committee is rumored to be discussing at their next meeting, where the fate of “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” will be determined.
Prospect Park continues to channel "One Life to Live's" original title of "Between Heaven and Hell" in a new audition script, which holds true to their desire to make the online version of the show "edgier" and "fresh."
Taboo as the topic of sex might be, it’s one subject that never fails to demand rapt attention. Sex sells, and daytime dramas have always known it; the term “love in the afternoon” didn’t spring from nothing! But just how much more provocative will TOLN’s online soaps, “All My Children” and “One Life to Live,” be now that they’re no longer under strict network regulations? Soap Opera Network sat down with some of the show’s stars, all of whom were none too shy to open up and reveal the naked truth about the new love in the afternoon!
Trevor St. John's first acting gig was courtesy of the 1993 film "Benny & Joon." Although he was only a stand-in for Aidan Quinn's character, Benjamin "Benny" Pearl," the actor credits the experience for giving him that certain bug. "The energy and pace of the movie set really caught my interest and was the reason I chose Los Angeles over New York. I've wanted to relive that feeling ever since."
Earlier this evening Corbin Bleu (Jeffrey King) tweeted to his more than 980,000 followers, "If @onelifetolive gets 5,000 followers today, we'll tweet out a picture of me on my first day on set!" Soon afterward the series reached its goal and then some (total stands at 5,170 as of this writing). As a result, "One Life to Live" kept its promise when it tweeted out a pic of Bleu with his character holding his cell phone (see image on the right).
