Beginning tonight at 7:00 PM ET/PT, SOAPnet presents a “General Hospital” marathon dubbed “Quartermania,” which will provide fans with five hours of classic episodes of the ABC Daytime drama series and the crazy antics of the Quartermaine family. In attendance will be some of your favorite soap stars from “GH” past including Jacob Young as Lucky Spencer, Natalia Livingston as Emily Quartermaine, Wally Kurth as Ned Ashton, Robyn Richards as Maxie Jones and Linda Dano as Rea Cummings, with fan refreshers made available for upcoming returnees Lynn Herring as Lucy Coe and Robin Christopher as Skye Quartermaine.

On Saturday, November 24, Lifetime will premiere its new holiday film “The March Sisters at Christmas,” a modern retelling of Louisa Mae Alcott’s “Little Women,” which stars Julie Marie Berman (“General Hospital”) as Jo March, one of four sisters who learn that their mother is planning on selling their family home, Orchard House, due to the family not being able to keep up with the extensive repairs the house needs. Sisters Amy (Molly Kunz), Meg (Kaitlin Doubleday) and Beth (Melissa Farman) join Jo in helping restore their family home to its former glory before their mother’s deadline to sell (after Christmas of course!) fast approaches.

On the Monday, November 19 episode of “How I Met Your Mother,” entitled “The Stamp Tramp,” Joe Manganiello (“True Blood”) returns for another stint as Marshall’s (Jason Segal) old law school classmate Brad. In the episode, Marshall finds out Brad lost his job as a lawyer two years ago after his company downsized. Hoping to help Brad out, Marshall cleans him up just in time for a job interview at Marshall’s firm. Unfortunately for Marshall, Brad screws things up and Marhsall has to do damage control with his boss.

It’s the semi-finals as ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” pays tribute to Michael Jackson and the 25th Anniversary of his “Bad” album. The “Dancing” tribute airs days before the network presents “Michael Jackson: BAD 25,” a documentary special directed by Spike Lee.

On Friday, November 23, which just happens to be the day after Thanksgiving, former “One Life to Live” star Nic Robuck takes on his dark side as the star of Lifetime Movie Network’s world premiere movie “Dark Desire.”

According to a report by Deadline.com’s Nellie Andreeva, CBS has canceled freshman comedy “Partners” after the program hit a new series low in the coveted Adults 18-49 demo (1.8 rating) this past Monday. The series starred Brandon Routh (“One Life to Live”), Michael Urie (“Ugly Betty”), David Krumholtz (“Numb3rs”) and Sophia Bush (“One Tree Hill”). The series was based on the lives of creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick as two life-long friends and business partners whose “bromance” is put to the test when one of them becomes engaged.

ABC News’ “Good Morning America” won the week of August 27, 2012, ranking as the No. 1 morning newscast in both Total Viewers (5.386 million) and Adults 25-54 (1.969 million), according to Nielsen Media Research. “GMA” outperformed NBC’s “Today” (4.503 million and 1.817 million, respectively) by +883,000 Total Viewers and +152,000 Adults 25-54, scoring its largest margins over “Today” in more than 18 years in both measures – since w/o 5/16/94 and w/o 8/15/94, respectively. Additionally, Goodmorningamerica.com on Yahoo! is the dominant morning news website, leading NBC’s Today.com by millions of pageviews and unique users. Sunday, September 23 marks ABC’s turn to host the “The Primetime Emmy Awards” (now in its 64th year) and in honored tradition the network will also be airing the pre-show, “Emmys Red Carpet Live.” This year the red carpet festivities will be hosted by the network’s Josh Elliott and Lara Spencer (“Good Morning America” and “Good Afternoon America”), Chris Harrison (“The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette”) and Clinton Kelly (“The Chew”).

After five weeks of non-stop drama, one of my favorite new television shows, “Political Animals,” is concluding its six-episode mini-series run on USA Network tonight.
