As it gears up to broadcast its first major awards telecast with the “42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards” on Sunday, April 26, Pop has released the Daytime Emmy Nominee Reels for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. Competing this year for the coveted trophy are Anthony Geary as Luke Spencer and Jason Thompson as Patrick Drake, respectively, on “General Hospital,” and Christian Le Blanc as Michael Baldwin and Billy Miller as Billy Abbott, respectively, on “The Young and the Restless.”

Congratulations are in order for “General Hospital’s” Jason Thompson (Patrick Drake), who wed long-time girlfriend, Paloma Jonas, co-founder and Los Angeles based designer of Valentine NYC. The two were wed on Easter Sunday, April 5, in an intimate ceremony on the beach in San Pancho, Mexico, according to photos published on social media. The two got engaged last July.

With “General Hospital’s” Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall) set to appear on ABC Family’s “Baby Daddy” next month as an exaggerated version of herself, ABC announced today that in a cross-promotional move cast members from the hit comedy are set to appear on the daytime drama series for the show’s Valentine’s Day episode.

The wait is almost over for the premiere of the new ABC.com original series, “GH Now,” hosted by “General Hospital’s” Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis). As previously reported, Brandon Barash is reprising the role of Johnny Zacchara on ABC’s “General Hospital” and it looks like he’s set to mark his return this week when Johnny comes face to face with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), at least that’s how it appears in the promo for this week’s worth of episodes. “Wait. What? Johnny’s back this week?!” tweeted Barash shortly after the promo was released.
