Originally set for release on Valentine’s Day 2018, Warner Bros. Pictures has announced that they have pushed back the release of “Game Night,” featuring “As The World Turns” alum Billy Magnussen, who starred as Casey Hughes on CBS’ “As The World Turns” from 2008-2010.
“The Young and the Restless” celebrated #WorldEmojiDay in honor of upcoming Sony Pictures release, “The Emoji Movie,” hitting theaters Friday, July 28.
While it’s still uncertain as to who Michael Easton will be portraying when he returns to the “General Hospital” canvas in the coming weeks, the actor recently announced on his Facebook page that you’ll soon be able to catch his new short-film, “Dreamliner,” which reunites him with his former “One Life to Live” co-star Trevor St. John (ex-Todd Manning/ex-Victor Lord, JR). Easton wrote and directed the short.
Mckenna Grace, the 9-year-old who has played Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon’s (Sharon Case) daughter Faith Newman on “The Young and the Restless,” is co-starring in Amityville: The Awakening. The feature film is scheduled for release on April 1.
The story of Billy Hayes and his daring escape from a Turkish prison and eventual return to a country that had blocked him from re-entry for more than 30 years is the center of “Midnight Return: The Story of Billy Hayes and Turkey” the feature-length documentary directed by veteran daytime writer Sally Sussman Morina (“The Young and the Restless,” “Another World,” “Days of our Lives,” “Generations”). The documentary will make its U.S. debut during “The 31st Annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival” next week.
In case you missed in theaters, “General Hospital’s” Lexi Ainsworth (Kristina Corinthos-Davis) and “The Young and the Restless'” Hunter King’s (Summer Newman) movie, “A Girl Like Her,” has been released on DVD, Digital HD and On Demand.
“The Bold and the Beautiful’s” Darin Brooks (Wyatt Fuller) is heading back to “Blue Mountain State,” but don’t worry, he isn’t leaving the CBS soap. The actor, who starred in the Spike TV series from 2010 to 2011, is appearing in the movie sequel, “Blue Mountain State: The Rise of Thadland.”
“Murder She Baked: A Peach Cobbler Mystery,” starring Alison Sweeney (ex-Sami Brady, “Days of our Lives”) and Cameron Mathison (ex-Ryan Lavery, “All My Children”), premieres Sunday, January 10 at 9p on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
