Despite her lawsuit against CBS and Sony Pictures Television being dismissed by a judge last month, former “The Young and the Restless” actress Victoria Rowell (ex-Drucilla Winters) has officially filed an amended complaint against the two companies citing retaliation and discrimination. “We’ll vigorously prosecute claims,” said Rowell on Twitter.
Compiling ratings data from production studio sources for the period beginning January 1 and ending October 31, Vulture recently reported some of the most watched shows in 18 countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Poland, Hungary and Italy, and the publication found the likes of “NCIS,” “Criminal Minds,” “The Flash,” “The Blacklist,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and the recently concluded “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” still at the top of the list for most watched shows in the world. Joining them are CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” and NBC’s “Days of our Lives,” two soaps aired in the daytime in America but in primetime elsewhere.

“General Hospital” fans around the world will once again congregate in the Los Angeles/Glendale area next summer when they come together for the annual fan club weekend, which this year was held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Glendale. The weekend long event is scheduled from Thursday, July 28 through Monday, August 1.
When news of Jason Thompson‘s decision to leave ABC’s “General Hospital” after a decade first came to light, timed around the announcement of Burgess Jenkins being out as the third Billy Abbott in two years at CBS’ “The Young and the Restless,” rumors ran rampant that “GH’s” loss would ultimately become “Y&R’s” gain and that is now proven true. Thompson will officially join the “Y&R” cast on screen beginning in January 2016.
Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer) is about to join the ranks of first-time dads. “The Bold and the Beautiful” actor has revealed that he and his wife, Nikki, are having a baby.
Think sublime chemistry between a daytime leading man and leading lady means a hunky-dory relationship off camera? Think again. In a video on bravotv.com, Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott, “The Young and the Restless”; ex-Kristen DiMera, “Days of our Lives”) and Lisa Rinna (ex-Billie Reed, “DAYS”) reveal they haven’t always liked — and occasionally loathed — their soap pairings.
With four soaps remaining on the air only ABC’s “General Hospital” and CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” were able to eek out nominations for the 2016 Writers Guild Awards in the category of daytime drama.
As first reported by About.com, “Days of our Lives” actors Judi Evans (Adrienne Kiriakis) and Wally Kurth (Justin Kiriakis) have been taken off contract. The duo learned of the decision by producers on Monday, November 30, but it’s understood that at least Kurth will remain with the show in a recurring capacity.
Congratulations are in order for “Days of our Lives” actress Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe Lane). The actress and her husband, entrepreneur Grant Turnbull, are expecting their first child in May 2016.
