The Monday, October 13 episode of “Days of our Lives” marked the final airdate for James Scott as EJ, and to commemorate the momentous occasion, the series’ beloved actress Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady) took to Facebook to not only list her favorite EJami moments, but to also share what it was like filming the tense scenes that ushered her onscreen love off the canvas. Following in the actress’ footsteps, Soap Opera Network is asking you to share your favorite EJami moments, too!

The New Year is bringing a fresh start to many, but it looks like it’ll be the same ol’ same ol’ dysfunction for “Days of our Lives’” Sami (Alison Sweeney) and EJ (James Scott) — and that’s exactly how their portrayers and their fans seem to want it! Soap Opera Network sat down with the popular pair to get their take on their alter ego’s dysfunctional relationship, what goes into their incredibly passionate and controversial fight scenes, how Abigail (Kate Mansi) could be a threat to their future, and more!

In Daughtry's new music video for the song "Waiting for Superman," former "Days of our Lives" star Patrick Muldoon (ex-Austin Reed) is seen portraying a character looking to end it all as he contemplates jumping out of the window of a high rise building.

“Days of our Lives” fans are getting a bit of an early holiday gift: Fan favorite Patrick Muldoon (Austin Reed) is starring in the ION TV film, “Holiday Road Trip,” along with George Hamilton and Shelley Long!

From "Cold Spring" to "Prosecuting Casey Anthony," former soap stars Marisa Ramirez ("General Hospital"), Sam Page ("All My Children"), Patrick Muldoon ("Days of our Lives," "Melrose Place"), Aiden Turner ("All My Children"), Elizabeth Rohm ("One Life to Live"), Sean Patrick Flannery ("The Young and the Restless") and Scott Evans ("One Life to Live") will grace the Lifetime movie screens this month as the group of actors help tell the networks tradition of stories involving stalkings, affairs and murder.

In an interview posted earlier today by TV Guide's Michael Logan, it looked like Co-Executive Producer Greg Meng was alluding to the possible ouster of actress Sarah Brown when he stated "we also brought in the wonderful Sarah Brown [Madison James] and threw her into a lot of material very quickly. Maybe too much too quickly." Sadly, it looks like he was indeed commenting on Brown's character on the show in past tense.

Soap Opera Network has learned that Marlene McPherson and Darrell Ray Thomas, Jr. were fired and replaced by Gary Tomlin and Christopher Whitesell.

When rumors began swirling back in June over the possible returns of Deidre Hall, Drake Hogestyn, Christie Clark and even Patrick Muldoon to NBC's "Days of our Lives," there was one other name on the list that unfortunately didn't make it from rumorville to the confirmation stage weeks later. That name was Bryan Dattilo.

Best known for her portrayal of Carly Corinthos and later Claudia Zacchara on ABC's "General Hospital," Sarah Brown is returning to daytime for another go after being dropped to recurring status earlier this year by CBS' "The Bold and the Beautiful," where she portrayed Agnes 'Aggie' Jones. The three-time Emmy Award winning actress has signed with NBC's "Days of our Lives" to play the contract role of Madison James beginning Tuesday, October 4.

After weeks of reported firings, hirings and rumors, NBC's "Days of our Lives" is breaking its silence. In a press release issued to Soap Opera Network, the program has outlined a series of changes that will be reflected on screen beginning in September that includes highlighting romance and the faces of beloved characters once more. Behind the scenes changes include the hiring of "Passions" scribes Marlene McPherson and Darrell Ray Thomas and naming Noel Maxam and Greg Meng as Co-Executive Producers. The duo replace Gary Tomlin, who was fired last week. The behind the scenes changes are effective immediately.
