Joshua Morrow

Since Melissa Ordway joined “The Young and the Restless” as Abby Newman just over a year ago, she hasn’t had much exciting story to sink her teeth into — until now! The drama between Abby, Tyler (Redaric Williams) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is about to explode, and Soap Opera Network caught up with Ordway to get the juicy details!
"The Young and the Restless'" Joshua Morrow (Nicholas Newman), of the hit independent film, “Tentacle 8,” — which also stars Bruce Gray (ex-Mark Wilcox), Teri Reeves (ex-Megan McKenna, "General Hospital"), and “All My Children’s” John Callahan (ex-Edmund Grey) and Matthew Borlenghi (ex-Brian Bodine) — will be appearing at Laemmle’s NoHo7 theater in Los Angeles for a special film screening on Tuesday, May 20, and guess what? Soap Opera Network has partnered with the film’s director, John Chi, in giving away two pairs of screening tickets to a couple of lucky SON readers!
While many other Daytime Emmy nominees might celebrate being honored with a special dinner or something of the like, “The Young and the Restless’” Hunter King (Summer Newman) celebrated in a much different way: By going to math class!
They say a happy couple never lasts long on soaps, and yet “The Young and the Restless’” Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) have endured for over half a decade. The pair hasn’t exactly been happy the entire seven years, but the two seem to share a love and strength within their relationship that is rarely seen in the soap opera genre. However, the saying “all good things must come to an end” is something that always lurks in the background, and some viewers can’t help but question just how much staying power Cane and Lily have left...
As previously reported, "The Young and the Restless'" Joshua Morrow (Nicholas Newman) and Steve Burton (Dylan McAvoy) are this years Social Media Reports for the annual Academy of Country Music Awards, airing live tonight at 8:00 PM, ET/7:00 PM, CT on CBS. All week and leading up to and after tonight's broadcast, the actors are sharing behind the scenes videos and images along with a handful of interviews with several country music superstars.
“The Young and the Restless’” Steve Burton (Dylan McAvoy; ex-Jason Morgan, “General Hospital”) and Joshua Morrow (Nicholas Newman) are quite the dynamic duo, having teamed up numerous times for comedy shows across the nation. With all of the relationship woes and family drama happening for their alter egos on “The Young and the Restless,” Joshua Morrow (Nicholas Newman) and Steve Burton (Dylan McAvoy) think it’s high time for a bit of a comedy break!
Yesterday, Soap Opera Network featured a Center Stage interview with “The Young and the Restless’” Joshua Morrow (Nicholas Newman) detailing his new film, “Tentacle 8,” which is out on DVD in select stores and on Amazon now. But as promised, we also got the star to open up about all of his “Y&R” drama, too! Read on to get the actor’s take on Sharon’s (Sharon Case) paternity lies, Victor’s (Eric Braeden) machinations, the search for Adam and the recent departure of some of the sudser’s most popular stars!
Anyone who’s been watching “The Young and the Restless” as of late knows that Nicholas Newman’s life is about to be blown to smithereens. Not only has his father been tricking the love of his life into thinking she’s been seeing and speaking with her dead daughter, he’s on the verge of finding out that the very same woman he loves has been lying to him about the true paternity of his daughter! The drama is all pretty typical for Nick’s portrayer, Joshua Morrow — who’s been dealing with twisted Genoa City plots for nearly 20 years — but the drama he faces in his latest stint in the political drama thriller ‘Tentacle 8?’ Not so much! Soap Opera Network spoke with the actor about momentarily stepping away from his ‘Y&R’ craziness to film the exciting project, which is available on DVD in stores and on Amazon today. And we also got him to spill on all of the Victor (Eric Braeden), Sharon (Sharon Case) and Adam (formerly Michael Muhney) drama, too!
Cast, crew, executives, and reporters gathered on the set of “The Young and the Restless” last week to celebrate Melody Thomas Scott’s 35th anniversary playing the legendary Nikki Reed. Her closest co-stars gave heartfelt words of congratulations to the actress, followed by an incredibly emotional speech from Scott herself. But don’t fret about not being able to take part in the special event: Soap Opera Network was there to capture every moment!
While the rest of the world enjoys hearts and chocolates and flowers for Valentine’s Day, the characters on “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Young and the Restless” will be getting a huge dose of Lovers’ Day drama!
On Monday, January 27, during the east coast broadcast of NBC's "Days of our Lives," actor Blake Berris (Nick Fallon) will tweet live with fans of the daytime drama series as viewers get more insight into where his character has been all these months and why he's return to Salem.
