Fans of former soap stars Barbara Niven (ex-Liz Coleman Reynolds, “One Life to Live,” ex-Branda Dickerson, “The Bold and the Beautiful”) and Dylan Neal (ex-Dylan Shaw, “B&B”) might be thrilled about the actors’ latest project: They’ve both been cast as series regulars alongside Andie MacDowell ((“Four Weddings and a Funeral,” “Groundhog Day”) in Hallmark Channel’s new primetime series, “Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove!”
While Billy Magnussen (ex-Casey Hughes, “As The World Turns”) did not win Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play for his performance as Spike in “Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike,” the play itself did win in the category of Best Play. Jennifer Lopez may just be Jenny from the Block, but there’s a whole lot she can do: acting, singing, judging “American Idol,” executive producing ABC Family’s new series, “The Fosters.” Oh, and personally answering everything you’ve always wanted to know about her, “The Fosters” or Sherri Saum (ex-Keri Reynolds, “One Life to Live”), who stars in the alphabet network’s new drama!
Movies and TV shows have stemmed from books (“Twilight,” and “True Blood,” anybody?), but it’s a rare day when TV shows and books are created simultaneously to create an integrated storytelling experience. But that’s about to change! As ABC preps for the premiere of the new reality series, “Whodunnit?” (an interactive program that puts amateur sleuths’ investigative skills to the test in a mystery murder reality competition), executive producer, Anthony E. Zuiker (creator of “CSI”), has teamed up with Hyperion Books to release a series of books that will be released along with the series and enhance the viewing experience.

Luckily, Lifetime Movie Network knows this and chose tonight to premiere ‘The Perfect Boss,’ an original movie staring both Jamie Luner (ex-Liza Colby, “All My Children”) and Linden Ashby (ex-Paul Hollingsworth, “Days of our Lives,” ex- Cameron Kirsten, “The Young and the Restless”)!
