The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) and Pop announced today additional presenters for “The 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” including Tom Bergeron, Eileen Davidson, Kevin Frazier, Leeza Gibbons, Vicki Lawrence and Mario Lopez. They will be joined by the “Queens of Drama,” the co-hosts of “The Talk,” the co-hosts of the new lifestyle chat show “The FAB Life,” and several other big stars from “The Bold and the Beautiful,” “Days of our Lives,” “General Hospital” and “The Young and the Restless.”

As supposed investigators put all the pieces for “The 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards” together on a bulletin board in anticipation of the upcoming telecast, the one question left to answer was “who could possibly be hosting the ‘Daytime Emmy Awards’ with all these celebs?” Enter Tyra Banks (“The FAB Life,” “The Tyra Banks Show,” “America’s Next Top Model”). In a newly released promo for broadcast, Pop hilariously reveals that social media (or in actuality a news release) already answered the question.

As it gears up to broadcast its first major awards telecast with the “42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards” on Sunday, April 26, Pop has released the Daytime Emmy Nominee Reels for Outstanding Special Guest Performer in a Drama Series. Competing this year for the newest trophy in the Daytime Emmy assembly line are Meredith Baxter as Maureen, Sally Kellerman as Constance Bingham, and Ray Wise as Ian Ward, respectively, on “The Young and the Restless,” Donna Mills as Madeline Reeves and Linda Elena Tovar as Rosalie Martinez, respectively, on “General Hospital,” and Fred Willard as John Forrester on “The Bold and the Beautiful.”
