Fred Willard, who won a Daytime Emmy Award for his portrayal of John Forrester on "The Bold and the Beautiful," has died. He was 86 years old.

ABC and PEOPLE present "The Story of Us," a two-hour primetime special airing Tuesday, May 19 at 8:00 p.m. EDT/PDT on ABC.

After three go-rounds in Port Charles, he's back on set for a fourth. Michael Easton, who previously portrayed John McBain, Caleb Morley and Silas Clay, has returned to work at "General Hospital" and announced his first air date.

With news that Michael Easton would soon be returning to ABC's "General Hospital" in the weeks ahead, who better to hear from about his return than the actor himself? In a posting on his Facebook page, Easton not only reiterates the truthfulness of today's big news, but also shares that it's because of the fans that he's even able to return to the daytime drama series.

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) and Pop announced today additional presenters for "The 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards," including Tom Bergeron, Eileen Davidson, Kevin Frazier, Leeza Gibbons, Vicki Lawrence and Mario Lopez. They will be joined by the "Queens of Drama," the co-hosts of "The Talk," the co-hosts of the new lifestyle chat show "The FAB Life," and several other big stars from "The Bold and the Beautiful," "Days of our Lives," "General Hospital" and "The Young and the Restless."

As supposed investigators put all the pieces for "The 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards" together on a bulletin board in anticipation of the upcoming telecast, the one question left to answer was "who could possibly be hosting the 'Daytime Emmy Awards' with all these celebs?" Enter Tyra Banks ("The FAB Life," "The Tyra Banks Show," "America's Next Top Model"). In a newly released promo for broadcast, Pop hilariously reveals that social media (or in actuality a news release) already answered the question.

As it gears up to broadcast its first major awards telecast with the "42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards" on Sunday, April 26, Pop has released the Daytime Emmy Nominee Reels for Outstanding Special Guest Performer in a Drama Series. Competing this year for the newest trophy in the Daytime Emmy assembly line are Meredith Baxter as Maureen, Sally Kellerman as Constance Bingham, and Ray Wise as Ian Ward, respectively, on "The Young and the Restless," Donna Mills as Madeline Reeves and Linda Elena Tovar as Rosalie Martinez, respectively, on "General Hospital," and Fred Willard as John Forrester on "The Bold and the Beautiful."

First announced in October of last year, Pop is ready to release their "Queens of Drama" as soap stars Lindsay Hartley (“All My Children,” “Days of Our Lives,” "Passions"), Crystal Hunt (“Guiding Light,” “One Life to Live”), Vanessa Marcil (“Las Vegas,” “General Hospital”), Chrystee Pharris (“PSNS,” "GH") and Hunter Tylo (“The Bold and The Beautiful”) are joined with special appearances by Donna Mills (“Knots Landing,” “Melrose Place” and "GH") in their new reality series debuting Sunday, April 26 at 10:00 PM, ET/7:00 PM, PT, immediately following the network's exclusive live broadcast of "The 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards."

As previously reported, the cast of "Knots Landing" will reunite on the Thursday, December 11 edition of Hallmark Channel's "Home & Family." In your first look at the reunion, cast members of the popular primetime soap opera - Donna Mills, Joan Van Ark, Michele Lee, Ted Shackelford and Kevin Dobson - sat down with hosts Mark Steines and Cristina Ferrare to discuss life after the cul-de-sac, while also taking time to celebrate Mills' birthday.

On the Thursday, December 11 edition of Hallmark Channel's "Home & Family," "Knots Landing stars Donna Mills, Joan Van Ark, Michele Lee, Ted Shackelford and Kevin Dobson will reunite when hosts Mark Steines and Cristina Ferrare bring the five cast members together to share memories, surprises, and music!

While the date for the 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards wasn't necessarily a secret, it was still somewhat surprising when it was revealed that next year's Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards would be taking place on Friday, April 24 and the big show would be taking place on Sunday, April 26 - the earliest either ceremony will have taken place since at least 2006. In an interview with David Michaels, Senior Executive Director and Co-Executive Producer for the Daytime Emmy Awards & Events, who notes to Soap Opera Network that we can likely thank "The Young and the Restless'" Christian Le Blanc (Michael Baldwin) for revealing the dates online, the executive addresses the red carpet debacle that rocked the industry earlier this year, while also providing insight into what we can look forward to seeing from both the creative side and the broadcast side for next year's telecast, and a greater understanding of how four new categories will change the future of the awards ceremony.

POP’s “Queens of Drama” is rolling out the red carpet and delivering exactly what the show’s title implies: In addition to the list of popular soap stars already attached to the reality show, “Dynasty” legend Joan Collins will also be a part of the new show!
