CBS’ “The Talk” announced today nominations for “The 43rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” which is scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 1. On Monday, May 2, the daytime show will host its fifth annual “After Party” with scheduled guests to be announced early Monday morning, May 2.
Hell hath no fury like a couple of estranged spouses locked up in a hotel room and forced to talk and work out their problems. But will “General Hospital’s” Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu’s (Emme Rylan) lockdown lead to a passionate reunion?
The annual “General Hospital” Fan Club Weekend event is scheduled to take place beginning Thursday, July 28 and run through at least Monday, August 1.
Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, and it’s going to be steamy, sexy and full of surprises on “General Hospital.” Port Charles couples from Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Jason (Billy Miller) to Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Nathan (Ryan Paevy) to Julian (William deVry) and Alexis (Nancy Grahn) — and everyone in between — will be celebrating the hearts and flowers occasion.
As we get closer to daytime’s biggest night, taking place on Sunday, May 1, the industry is abuzz today over which actors were submitted for a pre-nomination for the “The 43rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards,” presented by The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS). With at least two actors per show for each category (exception being Supporting Actress) several of daytime television’s biggest and brightest stars are looking to vie for the coveted trophy that celebrates their hard work during calendar year 2015.
“General Hospital’s” Dante (Dominic Zambrogna) and Lulu (Emme Rylan) have been in a marital mess for months. It all started when Dante wrongly thought Lulu cheated on him with Dillon (Robert Palmer Watkins), so he retaliated by sleeping with Valerie (Brytni Sarpi) Add Lulu’s ex, Johnny (Brandon Barash), to the mix and things got even more complicated.
It’ll be baby girl number three for “General Hospital’s” Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconeri), who is expecting his third child with wife, Linda. “It was a bit of a surprise!” the actor tells ABC Soaps In Depth of being a father again. “Found out it was a girl two weeks ago in a text from Linda saying baby was healthy and to pour myself a drink because it was another girl,” said the actor to Soap Opera Digest. “It’s my goal to make them the best soccer/hockey playing princesses whether they like it or not!”

KABC featured on set interviews with the likes of Dominic Zamprogna (Dante), Sean Blakemore (Shawn), Jason Thompson (Patrick), Laura Wright (Carly), Ryan Paevey (Nathan) and executive producer Frank Valentini to promote the time slot switch of ABC’s “General Hospital” back to 2:00 PM beginning Monday, September 8 in the Los Angeles market, while it’s New York counterpart, WABC, has released several promos highlighting the sexy storylines and hot stars of the daytime drama series including the aforementioned Thompson and Wright, William deVry (Julian), Maurice Benard (Sonny) and Kirsten Storms (Maxie). “GH” moves back to 3:00 PM in the New York market also on Monday, September 8.
