WABC Promotes New Afternoon Lineup Featuring ‘GH’ Stars (VIDEO)


KABC featured on set interviews with the likes of Dominic Zamprogna (Dante), Sean Blakemore (Shawn), Jason Thompson (Patrick), Laura Wright (Carly), Ryan Paevey (Nathan) and executive producer Frank Valentini to promote the time slot switch of ABC’s “General Hospital” back to 2:00 PM beginning Monday, September 8 in the Los Angeles market, while it’s New York counterpart, WABC, has released several promos highlighting the sexy storylines and hot stars of the daytime drama series including the aforementioned Thompson and Wright, William deVry (Julian), Maurice Benard (Sonny), Maura West (Ava) and Kirsten Storms (Maxie). “GH” moves back to 3:00 PM in the New York market also on Monday, September 8.

In addition to “GH,” WABC’s new afternoon lineup consists of a full hour of “Eyewitness News” at Noon, “The Chew” at 1:00 PM, “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” with new host Terry Crews moving to 2:00 PM, the addition of “Daytime Jeopardy!” at 2:30 PM, “GH” at 3:00 PM and “Eyewitness News” at 4:00 PM.

As a reminder, while select ABC affiliates will be moving “GH” to new time periods on their afternoon lineups, the drama series will continue airing nationally at 2:00 PM ET/1:00 PM PT on ABC.
