Five years since departing CBS’ “The Young and the Restless,” actor Peter Porte (ex-Ricky Williams) has made a name for himself with appearances in such shows as “NCIS,” “Living with Models” and more recently starring as Brad on “Baby Daddy.” On Saturday, August 5, the actor will star opposite Amanda Righetti (“Colony,” “The Mentalist”) in the Hallmark Channel original movie, “Love at the Shore.”

As part of Amazon’s unique pilot to series programming method for its Amazon Instant Video streaming service, “General Hospital” alum Nathan Parsons (ex-Ethan Lovett; “True Blood,” “The Originals”) can now be seen in the pilot, “Point of Honor,” which follows a Virginia family, led by their West Point bred son, John Rhodes (Parsons), who at the start of the Civil War makes the controversial decision to defend the South while freeing all of their slaves. Luke Benward (“Ravenswood”) portrays Garland, the charming black sheep of the family.

With photography by Brad Everett Young, several of daytime’s hottest young stars including “General Hospital’s” Kristen Alderson (Kiki), Chad Duell (Michael), Ryan Carnes (Lucas), Marc Anthony Samuel (Felix) and Ian Buchanan (Duke), “Days of our Lives'” Brendan Coughlin (T), Allison Paige (Bev), Guy Wilson (Will), Jen Lilley (Theresa), Billy Flynn (Chad), Casey Moss (JJ) and Kevin Riggin (Rory), and “The Young and the Restless'” Camryn Grimes (Mariah), along with stars from “Baby Daddy” (Derek Theleer), “Teen Wolf” (Stephen Lunsford) and “Power Rangers,” have taken part in the Dream Loud campaign that hopes to bring music and the arts programs back into schools. “Port Charles” alum Brian Gaskill is also featured in the campaign, among countless others.

Hot on the heels of the news that “General Hospital’s” Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall) will be guest-starring on ABC Family’s “Baby Daddy” early next year comes news that another daytime star will be visiting the sitcom: Former “Days of our Lives” star Matt Cedeno (ex-Brandon Walker)!

As if things weren’t crazy enough on “Baby Daddy,” an ABC Family sitcom about a guy who becomes a surprise dad when his ex-girlfriend leaves a baby on his doorstep, Matt Dallas (“Kyle XY”) is dropping in for an episode to up the ante!
